It's not definite retard...he states that Alan Wake was MEANT to be a huge story, and the rest of the chapters have already been written. He goes on to state Alan Wake 2 would not be an impossibility, they may be waiting for the new gen hardware to come out before deciding.

I honestly hope they don't make a movie out of it. I hope they keep making video games out of it. They wouldn't be able to capture the "the taken", the manuscript pages, and all the other great things about the video game.
