The intakes is just regular 75mm (~3") open air-filters (Brand: ITG) with adapter and a special made shield that holds them up and prevent from warm air to reach the filters.

I bought my 2000 bmw three years ago. Its got 130k on it and other than normal fluid changes I have spent $100 on a coil pack and belts, TOTAL. Actually, I might go so far as to say, you can't buy a higher quality car for the money. Maybe a Lexus SC400 or an Audi A4, but the SC has a timing belt (expensive job), and Audi wheel bearings go out after 80k miles. Bmw has timing chain, which never needs replacement. I think its just a stereotype that bmws are expensive to maintain.

well on the 740il the reverse gear tends to go out witch cost me $1500 to fix and are very difficult cars to work on lots of wiring, but the power is worth every penny im a 17year old bmw enthusiast lol once u go bmw theres no going back ive had 3 already but my e32 is my fave i say get it, i paid $1,200 foe mine cause the guy thought the ecu was out but it just had a wiring problem lol
