Damn dude! Dixie Witch is the shit. This is the best cover of a Lynyrd Skynrd song I've ever heard. I forgot how badass this song was and these boys just killed it and made it their own! Bravo! I love that stoner rock sound. I'm blazing one up for Dixie Witch!!

@bloozedaddy i don't bend it on the 2nd fret, i do a smooth slide from 2nd to 3rd to try and accomplish that sound cuz if i bend that note i usually end up coming up flat or a bit sharp. is that okay with you?

@boomhauer15 well...it does hurt my ears 'cause I'm a recording engineer...but then I could have arguments with dogs after 20 years of doing that. The bend is done at the 4th fret...so it's basically an A note released down to the G# and then open E.....it's all good. :)

I do know one thing you CANNOT dispute is that this is one of the best live performing bands in the U.S. and on their last 2 records the recording engineer did what find to be an excellent job. Your comment though I see that you do like the energy and attitude trustme they bring it

@bloozedaddy His name is Clayton Mills and he was the guitarist for this power trio up until late 2008..i am thinking they began about 1999.the new axeman J.T. Smith is also a total badass they just released a new record earlier this month called "LET IT ROLL"...had to wait five years for it with the band changes and whatnot. I think there is something positive to be said about a band adding their own flavor whilst covering a tune..this band definately does not fall into the "cover band"category

Got to see these guys at the Emissions from the monolith festival and this was the last song they played in their set. It blew the roof off Nyabinghi. They tried twice and kept getting a wall of feedback and Trinidad said "We'll try one more time if it don't work we gotta go." and like the saying goes third times a charm!
