@JohnTheWolfBoy I agree. Like come on. A lot of the epic people die in the video games. Examples: Noble 6 (Halo: Reach), Raziel (Soul Eater -PS2 game-). I don't think Master Chief will die in Halo: 4, because I heard their making a 5, and 6 (DTOID told me), but I have a feeling this'll be the last AC. Ezio will most likely die.

Also, the plot then gets far more complex, interesting and conspiracy-ish. The Animus allows for a more enjoyable experience. In AC1, conversations between Altair and his targets were set up in the Animus.

Modern day plot and the whole idea of DNA memory is fucked up, and it fucks up the mood of the actual medieval/reneissance play.

And if not for that, the games could be connected by a myth of your previous character that your current plot revolves around. Not that it has to be connceted at all since being a fucking assasin in both of them is enough of a connection, don't you think?

This trailer is much better than the full CG one, IMO. It's short, simple, but evokes so much emotion through the music and Ezio's monologue. Just amazing.

BTW, doesn't anyone find it that when Ezio says "show me how this will all end", he's telling us, the potential players, to finish his story? It feels so much like that, as if he wants us to share his final mission with him or something. Shear awesomeness X3
