  • Eric (Eric Etebari) glad to see you in this video. Never saw it before!! WOW.!

  • Beautifull lovely song by wilson phillips love it :)

  • China is sexy as hell

  • U wont!

  • Thanks a lot for uploading. Wilson Phillips was my favorite

  • excelente canción me encantan las wilson phillips... está canción es muy sensual .. Chynna eres hermosa...

  • completely underrated song, beautiful song

  • I am so happy to find this one on YouTube. It's my favorite of theirs! Many thanks! I just saw that they are having a show about their attempt to return as a group!

  • Never understood why this tune was not a hugh nº1 like the preivous hits of teh first album. This is my favourite of all as Daniel is.

  • @mrpjturner Coz it's like old school, no offence to this vid, it is a great song!

  • soooooo nice song, compared to beyonces countdown wich is pure noise!...less is more!

  • Ahh.. the year this song was released, I was 21. Life in my own place, new boyfriend, college years..loved my job, great friends and the best thing was back then they had AWESOME music. I totally miss the '90's, ya'll. where has all the good musicians and songwriters gone?

  • @Arimaarima71 MTV quit making videos and Rap took over....Hard rock and good top 40 groups didn't have a chance! Some good music...thank god for Adele but other than that not much to rave about!

  • @susparkles : I know, it's freakin' sad what happened to MTV during the mid-'90/s.. got all these stupid shows now... so hey had to make MTV2 and guess what??/ more than half of the programming on THAT channel are stupid shows too, like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom.. what the HELL does THAT have to do with MUSIC??? They better CHANGE THE NAME to somethng else, cuz, honey, MTV isn't MTV anymore. Who is IN CHARGE over there? Is it Viacom? Sad.

  • Love Wilson Phillips- here's my tribute to them..

    /watch?v=jEippUqLL0k

  • In my opinion, this is the best song they ever recorded as it vocally displays what they do best. Perfect harmony.

  • 1:29--Chynna looks like a Cover Girl model.

  • If VH1 ever does another rendition of Behind The Music, Wilson Phillips needs to get on there. They've been through a lot together--from dysfunctional parents (Beach Boys/Mamas & Papas) and their drug problems/abuse, Carnie's weight problems, and Chynna's departure from the group, and the emotional comeback.

  • @snootzie78 I agree, that's Behind the Music gold. Rock N Roll, drugs, incest...it's got it all.

  • Great song

  • ofcourse they wont see carnie cry they hid her under blankets and behind plants

  • Nice one, but does not come near their songs from their debut album.

Same for what they did later on.

  • @mrpjturner because they moved on, and you should too

  • Beautiful setting, where was this filmed?

  • one of the most beautiful songs ever !

  • Carnie, you look so beauty. I love you !

  • Chyna was at her sexiest in this vid.

  • People are so stupid. How could they not remember this group?!?

  • Hhmmmmmmm feels good this "old" song

  • Wonderful music.

  • Directed by Michael Bay

  • always loved this song and it still gives me chills..........

  • well late 80s

    ant way

  • well late 80s

  • so great!!!!

  • Their voices are so perfect and angel like. Love all their songs!

  • Chynna looks like she had plastic surgery in this one, but from what i remember i don't think she did. She looks really different though and not just cuz her hair is longer.

  • I love how 90's this video is. saxophone break, flowy curtains, the hair!

  • One of the best love songs ever. Of course they are much better than any Mily Cyrus, Gaga, Perry or anything like that. These were real singers.

  • i love this song..!

  • These voices are timeless. They break my heart!

  • i've been listening to this song for almost 2 decades, this will never dies.

  • awwww like the short hair better, these girls r g8t.....

  • I told my best friend that I had feelings for him because he wouldn't stop telling me about a girl that he liked. It got to the point where I needed to tell him or I would have to end the friendship. He doesn't like me back. I knew he didnt. We wanted things to be normal...and I guess in a sense things are normal. The only thing thats changed is that he knows now. Which makes things really not normal. So to prevent our friendship slipping, I've downplayed how I feel. And it sucks.

  • @noellejoi .....awwww babes hpe ure feeelin better now..xx

  • Great song! Love the video, was glad to see Chynna with a decent hairstyle for once (what a difference it made!), she and Carnie look beautiful!!

  • The other day I heard "Hold On" on the radio. It inspired me to revisit Wilson Philips Videos. This song, the performance, the girls, and the production of this song is hauntingly beautiful and divinely inspired. When they were new in the media I remember thinking feeling sad for Carney being so overweight in comparrison to the other girls, but I give her top honors for her courage and her success - then and in more recent years in the media. I would love to see them reunite and tour!

  • I was just thinking that. She's stunningly beautiful sans plastic surgery and with minimal makeup!

  • I decided

  • Just an awesome song!

Those were the days of GREAT music!

  • ooh i love how sensual it gets with their voices and the JAZZy saxophone..and then the scenes that follow.

  • How can you go wrong with a band comprised of children of a Beach Boy and The Mama's and the Papa's? I started singing at age 9 to their music. Still love it.

  • They were great. but I have to say even Carny Wilson would laugh today at how hard they tried to hide how heavy she was in Wilson Phillips videos. Sad.

  • They have the other two running around in lingerie and man they have Carnie Wilson covered from the neck down lol. That's kind of mean.

  • Awesome harmonies!

  • Awesome song, awesome harmonies.....goes to show music sure can run in the

    family

  • I love this song. Timeless gems.

  • What a great song from some of the best harmonic vocal talents ever. All three simply gorgeous too. I was lucky enough to work on this video. Shame it all ended up in B & W cuz the sets were lush. And this was before autotune mind you. Man they're good.

  • This song was part of track's international Brazilian telenovela DEUS NOS ACUDA "God help us" in 1992.

  • Look at 3:11...Carnie completely covered and the other two showing skin...

  • Over 20 years later and still going strong!! This is TRUE talent compared to what the 90's brought us.

  • i remember that i did'nt really love their hits on the 1st album....but then this came out and i loved it!! then they kinda disappeared..

  • Find me a girl group that can sing like that and i will be very surprised.Fantastic song/lyrics and vocal performance

  • @pauldjupe Wilson Phillips and The Bangles are a tie!

  • @pauldjupe No one matches those harmonies. :)

  • i love the harmonies of this track.

  • remember everyone, who the director of this video was..the one and only, MICHAEL BAY.

  • ...QUE LINDA...TENGO TODOS SUS DISCOS PERO NUNCA LAS HABIA VISTO EN VIDEOS...!GRACIAS..EXCELENTE...

  • What can I say about this song????

    It's AMAZING!!!

You won't see me crying, Sandra Bullock!!!

  • i liked these girls, but none of them could sing lead...all of their songs were sung in unison...carnie's pretty...but they hide her...the music business is more about the visual than about talent...they don't like fat girls

  • @Kellogs43able Actually there songs were not sung in unison. It was 3-part harmony throughout. That is why this song is particularly appealing to me. Unfortunately as you noted they did hide Carney to a certain degree as they did to Ann Wilson of Heart during their heyday. To the video producers credit I will say they gave Carnie a nice bedroom look in her shots.

  • I love this song!!!

  • At 2:07 when the girls suddenly shift their eyes directly at the camera--startling! This is such a great video: the house, the lighting, the flowing drapes, Carnie's sexy eyes and, of course the great music. Perfect!

  • i'm in love with Chynna,,,from 1990....everyday thnik about her!!!

  • SEriously beautiful song!

  • HOLA!!! HELLO!!!

  • Wonderful harmony and talent from the daughters of 60's and 70's best!

  • I have been looking for this song forever! Thank you to cybstorm!

  • FIND THE LYRICS @ EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Wilson+Phillips&title=Where+Are+You

  • Never mind the SAX..... the SEX I had in the 90´s mow that was good lol.

  • God, the saxophone... The signature, the savior and the scourge of all 90's music. LOL!

  • In Kenny G's case, yeah! LOL But this guy is HOT so he gets points for that.

  • Great song! And, yeah, that sax...WOW

  • Love it!

This song reminds my childhood and this is so AMAZING!!!

    Thanks for posting!

  • Oh god, the sax is just too much

  • One of my all time faves from them!! I love their outfits too!

  • I love this song.. has so much to say in this .. best trio yet .. not saying other's out there are not good, but once in a great while you come across something like this and all you do is what to sit back and listen to the sounds of beaitful music for once. thank you for this song..

  • you add great piano and you've really got a trio...but I think the best female trio should go to The Supremes!

  • Hmm...I'd say, as far as female trios go, TLC would rank pretty high too.

  • Abram...gave you a thumbs up for that too! There are so many great trios, just not enough females. I'm just old and remember the days when Diana Ross really gave a great performance!

    Thx for the followup comment.

  • Favourite song.

    Best female vocal trio.

  • I was a bit shocked to see Carnie didn't have a body. The other two strutting around in lingerie must have been fun for her self-esteem. Nice song though.

  • I have cousins who used to think Carnie had the prettiest face of the three, though!!

  • @MissDaydreamer37

I read where most of their videos had to be very carefully choreographed to avoid full body shots of Carnie. I think that by doing this, they even made the fact that she was overweight even more obvious. I say why hide it, Mama Cass did not seem to suffer from her weight in a commercial sense, neither does Aretha Franklin, etc.

  • @ligreekguy Yea even Carnie discussed this during an interview with E!....

  • Wilson Phillips were big in the early 90s not the 80s. I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • great female group from 80s

  • @doremi5002 you mean 90's

  • Wow, this brings back some great memories.

    Love these girls.

    Thanks for posting.

  • @omahaboy79 So sorry i meant to give you a thumbs up

  • @coolsweetgroovy It's all good :)

  • I love this beautiful song.!!!!!

  • Revisiting I love this song and Wilson Phillips I miss them great band great memories and a nice soundtrack apart of my life

  • uhhhh (speechless@wendy's beauty)

  • Love these guys!! With the musical heritage they have it isn't surprising they are quite awesome!! Solid production & is that Dave Sanborn on sax?

  • @ph1lanthrope I don't know

  • superb

  • God, I just can't stop loving Wilson Phillips. I had posters of them gracing the walls of my bedroom back then, kept a scrapbook and cried my 14 y/o heart out when they decided to split up. Still very much a fan and it's really great to be able to watch these video's again! Those were the days!

  • OMG tears I used to love them to I remember I had there album one of the first I ever had I used love them so much

  • Me too.

  • love this song :)

  • I love this song!!!!!

  • Wow, this is music! Great beauty, only surpassed by great talent.

  • In recent years we've seen the media machine run wild with Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and most recently Miley Cyrus. These (Wilson Phillips) girls didn't get 1/100th of the air time or attention, and it's sad because their vocal talent crushes those I mentioned above. Moreover, how the hell did people NOT notice how drop-dead gorgeous Chyna Phillips was back then? I mean -- my God, was she something. Britney who?? Let's be serious here.

  • I see two reasons:

    1. No Internet way back then.

    2. There were much more groups and bands doing pop in those days. Today it all comes down to a couple of people getting all the atention.

Anyway WP were the Top Female act of 1990 with 5 o 6 singles on the charts -not bad at all for a time when #1 hits were by Whitney Houston, Madonna, Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Sinead O'Connor...

  • I soooooooooo agree. I put Chyna right up there with Mariah when they all first came out. Then Wilson Phillips disappeared and she never really had much of a solo career.

  • @RavishingBeyond, I coudn't possibly agree with you more!

  • @RavishingBeyond

Amen to this. Britney sold herself (literally) first as a committed virgin (yeah, right) and then turning tail right before the entire public by becoming a slut, so for her, it was all gimmick and shock treatment. Jessica and Ashley Simpson had an oil executive father who bought them contracts (not to mention how they became trained to lip sync a la Nilli Vanilli), and as for Miley Cyrus, her middle name should be "thank God I have a daddy who made it big in country music".

  • You are absolutely right. I agree 100% These were real singers and probably this one was one of their best songs.

  • @RavishingBeyond you are so currect

  • @RavishingBeyond It's called the internet! In the last 5,10 years it's been in your face with myspace, youtube, facebook & twitter not to mention the gossip shows like ET, Access Hollywood, Extra, TMZ & the E channel. In the early 90's when WP was popular, all we had was MTV, ET, Fan Magazines & the Radio to hear about the girls. These days there is way more exposure to the world. The ladies always had their shit together anyways! :-)

  • @RavishingBeyond yeah,i agree w/u..

  • @RavishingBeyond these are fab, best all girl group always

  • wish this group hadn't separated

  • This is a beautiful video. It's so old fashioned and full of emotion. This song is definitely better than all the crap today. All their music is. It makes me sad that they were popular before I was born. I couldn't catch them in their 'glory days', but at least SOME PEOPLE have the decency to put these on YouTube, so now I can enjoy them. I think Carnie looked beautiful in this, as did Wendy and Chynna. I don't know about the wigs...but maybe that just symbolizes being tired after a breakup.

  • An fantastic song by one of the greatest Girl Groups in history!!!!

  • This song even after lot's of Heart Ache makes me want to BELIEVE in love! My love is good for SOMEONE AND I WILL FIND HIM !

  • I love the wigs.

  • Image was very imprtant, especially in the video age. Carnie mentions several times over the years how she disliked making videos. The focus was always on showing how beautiful Chynna and Wendy was whereas in comparison video directors tried their best with makeup and lighting to hide her.

  • I always have found Carnie attractive-her angelic, expressive face, her energetic spirit, and her stand-out lovely vocals. They probably thought that they were being sensitive to hide her, but instead they hid a treasure.

  • They did the same thing with Carnie Wilson as they did with Ann Wilson in Heart's videos.

  • i love this song so much...

  • Very lovely and meaningful. They were woefully overlooked in their time. Not entirely, but listening to them today one appreciates just how great they were. I love Carnie, always have.

  • And, 17 years on and I have moved on

  • I think they are 3 beautifull lady ,i like them, and their music.

  • It kills me that people need to comment of the appearance of these girls. These three are SUPER talented! Why do you have to talk about how they look? What the hell?

  • Exactly-Much better than today's offerings,great song+voices

  • The part with the saxophone player is interesting, I get a total Witches of Eastwick vibe with the three of them, I feel like screaming to the sax player, Watch Out! You are going to be mauled!

  • a nice "be strong" song.

  • great video and great song beautifull:)

  • there still hot babes today!!!!

  • This was one of my "breakup" songs back then, of course I was crying a lot so it didn't exactly fit the song title :) Beautiful song...I kind of wish they came out with new material now.

  • I call it the "be strong'" song

  • Beautiful, moving song.

  • this group had so many great songs in such a short period..what happened to them? Grunge music! This type of music sounds great today after all these years..nothing but good feelings when I listen to Wilson Phillips : )

  • the second cd from which this song is from flopped and they split up :(

  • Wonderful song.... superb video too

  • Chynna Philips wow, sexy and beauty, Wilson Philips is great.

  • She is so pretty because her looks came from her beautiful mother Michelle Phillips of The Mama & the Papas(watch some of thier videos on YouTube from the 1960's..her mom was awesome)...

  • Let's not forget Michelle Phillips as the temptress Anne Matheson of Knots Landing.

  • I love this !!

    John Hunter Phillips

" If We Ever Need A Super Man"

  • Such a good track - no18 in the UK in 92. That screaming sax crescendoing from beneath those harmonies gets me every time.

  • yeah vicky, theyre awesome....tight harmony. its hard to sing that tight when you all sound alike

  • Chynna Philips is super pretty.

  • WOW

    HARMONY at its best!!

  • Whenever someone hurts me and I could cry I remember this song and tell myself : " You won´t see me cry " .....

  • This song remember the love... is a graet sensation... like a life in motion... but... you don't see me cry...

  • Imagine, the director of this video was Michael Bay, who later directed Bad Boys and Transformers :)

  • i didnt know michael bay did this. he also did, meat loaf's id do anything for love and Angelia by richard marx, which is a fantastic video, and song.

  • wow great song, remind me of the 90's....

  • their hair in this video is worse than their older ones.

but Chyna is sooooo pretty. Is she still with Billy Baldwin?

  • There was an article which says that SBK records tried to give them a more matured image on this second album (the songs on this album also dealt with more matured themes), but overdid it and alienated them from their teenage fan base. Chynna is still happily married to Billy Baldwin with three kids.
