Throughout the entire movie (which i am a Muslim) I felt like Elijah was a good person but held very strange views and at times it looked as though he thought he was a prophet. So when i found out Malcolm went on his own, rejected Elijah i was like Subhanallah, Allah has shown him the straight path for Allah knows what is best for us all. He may have died but he died a hero. A hero that lives on, with a speech of a thousand words.

Malcolm X went to prison, he had a world of problems, he was hardly an angel but he worked hard to improve himself and that self improvement cost him his life. Malcolm was usually a cool and calm guy, but I can understand his emotion in this video. Remember, that this was right after his house was fire bombed, which almost killed his wife and children. That would get just about anyone fired up (no pun intended).

@BlacKnowledgeBK What could have been so evil that NOI had to murder him? What sin is so profound that forgiveness and absolution were not a better choice than murder? If we accept that all Malcolm X said about Elijah Muhammad it seems that standing up and admitting the mistakes would have made Elijah even stronger. I have often wondered what darkness can bring a man to murder another and why others would murder for him. I cannot imagine an embarrassment worthy of murder.

@2Baker40 Actually if Elijah Muhammad would have stood up and admitted that Malcolm X was correct about all the allegations he made about Elijah Muhammad and the nation of Islam it would have destroyed Elijah Muhammad and the nation of islam it would not have made Elijah Muhammad stronger -he would have been exposed as a hypocrite and the nation of islam as a fraud-that is the darkness that can bring a man to murder-but i do believe that the FBI had something to do with it also
