my grandma brought her st bernard on KOFY to do a bumper and it just happened to be the day after it got a massive bowel obstruction. she waited about 3 months to bring the dog on so she took it to the vet and he gave the dog a bunch of laxatives. by the time she got the dog to KOFY in south SF, it shat black diarrhea all over the couch and carpet on the soundstage.If you pay attention over the summer of 1992,you can see them alter the set due to all the shitty furniture they had to throw away

I remember these spots. There was one small dog that was on stand and it fell off just as to KOFY logo came on! Funny as hell.

KOFY tv20 2008 is stuggling to bring independent tv back as of 2008 but it cannot replace 1980's TV 20

These old dog bumpers are great! I found some old VHS tapes of Mary-thons and Zone-a-thons with them that I'll post... But they have the later gold 20 logo, not the cool brightly colored one this one has. Anyway, I'll add some to my youtube page. Thanks for posting yours!

Ah memories! Jim Gabbert's TV-20. I remember his oldies radio station too, KOFY, "the nifty ten-fifty". I'm trying to remember what re-runs I used to watch on Ch.20. I think "Bonanza", and a couple other old shows.

Great video. What I always loved about these older bumpers were the "20" logo's vivid colors. Don't know the exact date, but this is definitely from no later than 1989-1990, near the end of KOFY's doubling as an AM oldies radio station. KOFY went off the air altogether in mid-1991 when the format was changed to Spanish music; today it's KNBR-1050 sports radio. (Jim Gabbert also pops up on KGO 810 once in awhile.)
