he looks like an italian greyhound... if he is full grown (they said hes 10) he is wayy too small to be a whippet. I had a purebred whippet and she was quite a bit taller than that.

For those who are going on about this Whippet being "too skinny". It would need to be on the thinner than normal as it only has two legs that would not be able to support the weight that 4 legs would. If this dog was heavier, it would probably put strain on it's leg joints and feet which would ultimately shorten the dogs' life span. A normal Whippet in good condition would have it's last three ribs showing, three vertebra showing midway down it's spine and it's pin bones slightly prominant.

Either a whippet or an ITALIAN greyhound. Oprah could've possibly thought, "well, an italian greyhound isn't very different from an...um... english greyhound, is it?"

but yeah, just about the height of a whippet. I have a whippet mutt myself. <3 she's adorable. =D

For ideal condition on a whippet, you should see a hint of the pin bones and the last two ribs.  This dogs pin bones are very prominent.

well i guess this dog has to be thin so it won't hurt its legs, since he doesnt hav that much support. like on dogtown, there was this border collie with only 3 legs, and they has to make it lose 10 pounds so he wont hurt his legs, and be able to support his body

if the pricks that owned this dog had him on a leash this never would have happened to him. I'm not feeling one bit warm and fuzzy that this dog went through such trauma because of it's careless owners.
