  • Thank you Cless! But our Dhaos is in another castle!

  • i laughed when cless was all stunned by Dhaos, and then he still was in that face after Dhaos was defeated

  • Dhaos, after 5555 indignations doesn't acknowledge that indignation can be cast

  • This isn't the final boss battle though , is it??

  • @champion5545 Nah, this is only a little over halfway through the game. You fight him two more times after this though, with the last fight against him being the final boss.

  • MAN, I came to this video to watch indignation

  • You're kidding right? he got hit like 3 times? how in the world is he bad?

  • where would i find a english rom for the zsnes

  • hahahaha Cless´eyes in the end are priceless 3:02

  • Nice gameplay

  • these designs for them are waaay better than the new ones these are the kickass ones :D

  • Why didn't you use cless' abilities?

  • @Hayashirice911 Becouse the normal attack cancels Dhaos's casting.

  • @SpiritG0d just that yo9u know, every succesfull move on dhaos cancels his actions/spells etcc

  • better then the psx version.this one has charm.

  • why you dont use luna she is the best option vs daos

  • @k4m4k4s1 In the SNES version, Maxwell was obscenely broken. It was literally almost impossible for Maxwell to miss on anything, let alone on Dhaos's gigantic frame. Maxwell did very consistent and very high damage whereas Luna was always completely random. If you're lucky, Luna hit Dhaos maybe 3 times out of like 10 or however the hell many beams Luna fires; but you always hit fully with Maxwell. Plus, occasionally, one of Maxwell's bolt's would do more damage than the others.

  • @CenturyBlade hmmm its that so i should try that

  • turning off skills is easy. you can do it in tales games and star ocean games

  • man i play that way too i like to select indignation every 5 seconds :D

  • Nice video! I prefer to use the spells manually, too. Except for Mint, i don't like to use spells automatically... even knowing you can block some spells for Klarth and Ache, i feel better to use manually...

  • @GoforEmpire No, I rock.

  • lol the battle woulda been much more smooth if you just made it so that klarth can only cast maxwell and arche can only cast indignation, that way you wouldn't have to select it yourself every second. i loved the snes version of this, i played it like 10 times

  • @KrumpetNylon The battle would've been much more smoother if I had made it so that Dhaos dies in 1 hit.

But seriously now.. How is that possible

  • @SpiritG0d :( are you trying to imply it's impossible to make characters only auto cast 1 spell.

  • @KrumpetNylon Well almost. I just dont know how

  • @SpiritG0d lol anyway sry, i didn't expect you to comment on this as this vid is 2 years old. But i'm pretty sure you press 'B' in the spells menu, or it might be 'X' (i think it can also be done while in battle. Each of the green circles in the spell list turn to orange x. Lastly just got to set their tactic to use summons/spells. I might download this again to test it lol

  • The Maxwell sprite always puts me in a good mood, haha

  • This version of the game only came out in Japan so of course it is fan translated.

  • I still remember my Dhaos battles in SNES. My formation was Cless going all the way to the front while all the rest all the way to the back (Chester on the middle in the last one), that way I kept myself busy fighting back Dhaos while my spellcasters remained casting spells undisturbed. Add that to the fact that I was underleveled and you get a very entertaining battle XD

  • Maxwell looks much better in the SNES version.

  • Dhaos is a guy

  • i miss this game so much!

  • Note: be sure all your character have 9999+ level to defeat her but Level 91 is okay also ...I don't know what the gender of the enemy? his/her?...

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I win this battle last 2 years ago with my game boy advance and my level is 91 but I failed to became 100...waaaaaaaaaaaa but I defeated Dhaos for sure...

  • Is this fan translated?

  • I think so

  • Dhaos yelling. Indignation weakness. Physical attacks useless.............I miss this version.

  • Damn right!

Well, physical attacks do actually cancel his 'bigger' moves :D

  • Yeah. I meant dmg wise. Love ToP. I Wanna play the PSP version (dont have PSP lol)

  • Ah, was i happy when i heard him saying "it can't be" in japanese, you can't often enjoy seeing a boss suffering. Reminded me also of the intro battle with Cress and Mint parents.

Ah, i forgot, why not setting the magic and summoning on auto for the battle ?

  • I did not know of such a feature o_o

  • Actually it's quite easy (no offense). In the menu you can choose in tactics to set the frequency of their casting (it also set the sort). And in the skill menu, you can select (white) or deselect (grey) magics for arche or summonings for Klarth.

I'm not sure for the name of "tactics" and "skills" menu, sorry (i have a translated version). But, give it a try, it will save you the time to enjoy battles a little more i hope.

  • Are I only who perfers gba versions script over dejaps(or whatever it was) fan-translation? Sometimes dejaps translation feels like they add their own stuff to it, and so on

  • @ookooweb Most probably they do, but there where several parts in which it was actually the official translation the one adding their oun stuff to it in order to amplify the market to small children. An example is the ship trip to Alvanista: Dejap most probably exagerated the conversation but I'm possitive the spy did not spoil her mission to Klarth just because of eating too much. She was drunk, but alcohol in videogames is a big no-no in EEUU, so they changed booze for food.

  • @cursedex Yeah and I'm pretty sure Klarth doesn't tell Cless that he thinks Arche fucks like a tiger in English releases, either.

  • "Arche: INDIGNATION!

Dhaos: Sonna... sonna BAKANA! (That....That's IMPOSSIBLE!!) *get struck by Indignation* ARGGGGGGGH!"

How I wish they would do the Dhaos yelling while been struck by Indignation spell in the GBA/PS version. :(

  • wow a big difference with America

  • Man, the japanese dub for this game is way better than the english one

    (nice fight, pal!)

  • Despite it not being as faithful to the original script.

  • He's not talking about the translation he's talking about the voices I believe.

  • yes, i'm talking about the voices hehe

  • Japanese voices in japanese products always are better than the english ones. Imho

  • I thought the english one was very good- I even cried when my game broke :(

  • How fitting that you finished him off with Indignation...

  • Lol hadnt noticed it before :D

  • @CiderBang :,( when I had my first fight against him, I used indignation, but Mint was right next to him and beat him...

  • I have the exactly the same version.. what cless level in this battle?

  • Can you teach me how to use an emulator correctly.

  • Wow they look so different compared to the other versions of the game o_o...

  • @StrikeZeroX25 I know

  • @StrikeZeroX25 in a goood way XD

  • @StrikeZeroX25 THEY LOOK THE WAY THEY SHOULD HAVE LOOKED EVER AFTER. T_T I hate the new designs. Not for being bad, but for being DIFFERENT. THESE SNES characters are and will ever be my heroes. ;_;

  • @dhunter1990 but they have big feets!

  • Im new to the game and i like the battle system...it wrocks

  • You know, you shouldn't have targeted the Evillords first, since Dhaos can't attack while they're alive. Anyway, nice battle!

  • Hehehe, never thought of that :d

  • What Key is the B Key for the Zsnes Emulator?

  • I customized my keys on Zsnes options

  • u hve a patch or this game came to the us?

  • I play this with emulator
