This is so far from live it isn't funny (it's quite electronic for starters). You can hear her out of breath when she speaks at the end. I have a problem with that, but the fact that a member of her team came on her forum twice and insisted it was live does annoy me.
Plus, anyone who saw Delta in concert (especially during 'Electric Storm') will know that Delta cannot sing and dance at the same time and sound like that.

I like Delta Goodrem, and I'm pretty sure she lip-synched. Not that there's anything wrong with it in this kind of performance, in which enough emphasis is on the choreography to offset the need for live singing.
what we heard was not delta singing live. Im a HUGE delta fan, but that doesn't mean i have to compliment delta all of the time. i've listened to believe again literally over 50 times (itunes count! lol) and every single word sounds exactly the same, just modified with the electronic sounds. also when she says "else could hear...." (1:00) the sound continues... how can you explain that?
i think its just a big shock to some people to see how grown up she is now, she's out of the young girl innocent look and has grown in to a young woman, and good for her , but its gonna take some getting used to, because she was away for so long.
I think this is great.
It's so different, than her other performances. She is trying to show us something new, something different, and that's so great! :)

Like to see you do better champ, Delta is a kick-ass performer, you'd be suprised about the singers people think sound great live, they are the one's who have pre-recorded tracks and just lip-sync, or do trashy karaoke, I say, go Delts, thats awesome.

Thats your opinion and your entitled to it, I've built my bridge. I still think she's great, as with all aussie preformers, and really, would you risk screwing up at an event so big? You've got not only your reputation on the line, but your country's as well, personally, I'd rather be caught lip-syncing than international humiliation... does anyone sing live at those kinds of events anyway? yeah she is definitely lip syncing - she's usually very good live, but it would hard to sing this that perfectly whilst dancing. it's exactly the same as the recorded version so i'm sure she's not singing live. good performance tho! nice to see her stepping out of her comfort zone and leaving the piano behind for a while! x

she wasn't lip-synching but they probably used a microphone effect to make her voice higher or deeper to make her voice so perfect!

If you people have nothing nice to say about delta then don't listen, watch or sing to her songs. At least she has the guts to get up on stage an entertain us unlike you rude arseholes who should put your rude comment where it fits. She is a great actress, singer, performer, dancer and the most best looking celebrity (whole Package) this performance is what you would call Art not rubbish like some of you think. I like Delta Goodrem, and I'm pretty sure she lip-synched. Not that there's anything wrong with it in this kind of performance, in which enough emphasis is on the choreography to offset the need for live singing.

She obviously has a backtrack. When dancing is involved, live singing is almost always out of the question.

what we heard was not delta singing live. Im a HUGE delta fan, but that doesn't mean i have to compliment delta all of the time. i've listened to believe again literally over 50 times (itunes count! lol) and every single word sounds exactly the same, just modified with the electronic sounds. also when she says "else could hear...." (1:00) the sound continues... how can you explain that?

i think its just a big shock to some people to see how grown up she is now, she's out of the young girl innocent look and has grown in to a young woman, and good for her , but its gonna take some getting used to, because she was away for so long.
