This American wishes he was not a typical American educated only in English. Raumpatrouille looks like a really good series. I'm going to try to find a way to watch some episodes, if only they're captioned in English. Does any reader here have knowledge of where on line I could enjoy some full episodes? Even if no English captions. I would watch and enjoy!

@Commiton The whole series (7 episodes) is available on Amazon, together with a rather crappy movie which they edited out of 2 or 3 episodes. The only good thing about the movie is that it comes with English subtitles. :-)

On the other hand, you could try a search on one of those certain file sharing websites - last thing I've heard, there are subtitles attached in various other languages. Obviously this is *highly* illegal. :-)

"Raumpatrouille" war für damalige Verhältnisse alles andere als billig. Mit ca. 360.000 DM pro Folge ein ziemlich teuerer Spass für 1965. Daher wurde sie nach nur 7 Folgen (leider) abgesetzt. Wen´s interessiert, wie die Tricks gemacht wurden, der sollte mal bei Wikipedia reinschauen.

..hatte ihren ganz eigenen Charme die Serie..und zumindest als Junge fand ich sie packend!!^^ Science Fiction im Fernsehen war ja auch ne echte Sensation damals!! Schade, dass die Verantwortlichen nicht, wie die Amis bei Star Trek, am Ball geblieben sind und den Kult fortgesetzt haben!! Man könnte sicherlich auch heute noch was draus machen mit ner kleinen "Frischzellenkur"!!^^^^

Yes it is. You can even buy it on DVD today with all series on two discs in German. If it's also available in English I don't know exactly. With subtitels it may be published normally. A cinema verison of all versions have been cut in 2003 for international. This movie might be available in English.

Yes, I've got episodes 1-7, all subtitled. Apparently they're from the Roland Emmerich remake, which never happened. Your French site is fab, by the way!
