i read the book and i hated hated hated anna karenina and vronsky and their selfish love.. plus i felt bad for anna's husband and son. But i want to see the movie because maybe it'll show me a different side of it... plus i ♥ sean bean :):)
Have you read the novel? I'm not trying to be smart but each of those characters,save Karenin,had a choice not to get involved with him. Kitty and her mother were a pair of fools and her father saw right through Vronsky. Levin was a fool for accepting a woman who had jilted him already and only married him to save face. Anna could have resisted but each time he approached,she engaged him and knew the consequences for a woman in that time.

Little tidbit, Sean was in LOVE w/Sophia Marceau but she was indifferent to him -not her type at all so it never went anywhere. You can see HIS INTENSE CHEMISTRY towards Anna K - but Sophie Marceau is so WEAK and pallid in this role she has no chemistry w/Vronsky good actress but miscast

Love this novel. Vronsky didn't force Anna. She allowed herself to be caught and was just as obsessive as he was.
