WOW! Talk about being rebuked in love. I have been too tired or too lazy to go to church for a long time now. I was thinking about that today and then I hit play on this song. I will certainly not sleep through service this Sunday. Thank you Lord for the gentle rebuke and for the chance to do better.

Romans 11:20-22, what is a believer to assume it means to continue in his (Gods) kindness otherwise, you will be cut off. What are the works destined for burning in

I Corinthians 3:14-15? " he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. What kind of branch survives Gods cutting tools (as in John 15:1-6) so it will not be burned? How can you be sure you are fruitful enough? For ea. lost soul there is yet another. So much for being saved.

I pray the church would start meeting people's needs instead of "punishing" them and telling them to pray for something that will never come unless the church actually REACHES OUT. God forbid if anything is an inconvenience to the church!

No the voice is definately Michael Card's cover from Keith's Album 'No Compromise' Keith's voice is much more...strident with less pathos. Brilliant version this. Although at the end the last few phrases are Keith's voice.

You sound like a new 10 year old Spice girls crush fan claiming that they are the greatest band/singers/musical influence on humankind ever and you're going to marry them all too.

It is your word 'ever' that concerns me. If you're just saying you really like them, OK. If it's serious though, would you care to share the contenders and your in depth knowledge on them in order to convince folk of your reasoned conclusion?

I agree with you Golchen.. it seems to change up in areas where keith's version punched through moreso because of that very reason.. more passion.. and the register would change in keiths voice with the emotion behind power points in the songs.

One of the many classic songs from Keith Green. I believe that he was/is the most inspired Christian songwriter and performer ever. If I'm not mistaken this is Michael Card - another superb Christian artist, although for me this falls a little short of KG's passionate delivery. Thanks for the vid.
