Murray showed some of this aggressiveness against Nadal at Aussie open.... If he plays the same way as against nadal he sure will become no 1 and stay there for a long time..
@Arhaych90 i hear you man, and i agree, but oftentimes under pressure you resort to what you know best, and i can understand how it may be hard to become agressive, when youre used to a more "passive" game.
Actually I believe Murray uses a very old frame, an original iPrestige pro or something like that. The pro players are very fickle about their rackets and they're quite unlikely to change from what they used when they were younger. It's definitely a paint job.
ur rite i don understand that guy candoguru, he has no idea... wat a dumbass, head just wanted murray to advertise the radicals because no one else was using it
I think part of his game is to prolong points since he is such a force from the baseline, with his improve stamina i think he chooses to prolong points rather then to end then at times. im sure he can play first strike tennis if he wanted to, but his play style is about setting up points and also to let his stamina play a big role in matches, anywho those are my two cents worth heh.
is a really strange forehand in your left hand... I think that he'll better it... and your legs Andy: it's so very hard.. come on !! you should to come back on centre court with the inverted leg.... and also the split step? you shouldn't forget it.

I'm a huge Murray fan, and he seems to be doing these drills to practice aggressive shotmaking.
However, he rarely shows this side of the game, I'm hoping he can incorporate it more because he is scarily good when he attacks.

ok.. it's a mircogel radical mp with a prestige grommet. got it?
stuman1012 2 years ago
no its a paintjob over the prestige mp ok? no one else usedd radical so head had to paint the prestige for murray for advertisement
HoyoungWTennis 2 years ago
Nope, cause all of the Pros use the Prestige Versions with various Paintjobs:
Wawrinka, Cilic, Koellerer, Murray, Safin, Schuettler all play the Prestige.
Except Kuzi, Gasquet, Ljubicic and others, who play the yellow Head Extreme Pro.
There is no Head Radical Tour out there, the rackets you see in shops are just commercial rackets for us regular guys.
keijimuto 2 years ago
@keijimuto Actually Gasquet uses a Liquidmetal Instinct tour XL, painted like the youtek extreme.

No its not! Its not even the one he uses
CanDoGuru 2 years ago
ok you don't have a clue about what you're talking about.
It's the new Youtek Radical paintjob in the Head Microgel Prestige Pro.
He changed to this paintjob after wimbledon2009.
Before he was using Head Microgel Prestige Pro with Head Microgel Radical Paintjob.
Don't ever judge a racquet for the looks.

There's no such thing as training racquet or racquet for games.
Don't comment unless you have minimal knowledge about tennis.

Excellent to see, I believe Andy is too passive with his forehand especially, he sometimes lacks the final shot like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.
If he can improve this aspect of his game, he will shorten the points significantly.
