I remember when I was 5 years old, my grandmother always played this cartoon on the VCR to stop me from crying. I remember I used to stop crying whenever I watched this cartoon. She passed away a few years ago but this video always remind me of her..
I watched 'Who framed roger rabbit' on TV just know and it made me feel REALLY nostalgic. This is odd because even though I remember watching Woody Woodpecker and the Looney Tunes and I as born in 1997.
That cop is certainly a dummy when he doesn't know the difference between a manhole cover and a phone. Even the cop in Screwdriver was smarter, and he is in the loony bin.
I am only 13 years old, but this is by far my favorite cartoon character, and episode ever, that and the one with Michigan J. Frog. I have all the Woody Woodpecker cartoons ever. Walter Lance is in fact amazing, and my dad has a hand drawn by Walter Lance picture of Woody Woodpecker. Unfortunatly a week or so later Lance died. Sad :( .
@naoma it sure is... ive played classical piano 30 years and can play the first part very well, but the fast section is hell, and in a very difficult key (F#)...most of Liszt's music in incredibly difficult becuase of his amazing pianistic skills

This is as good as Cat Concerto (Tom & Jerry). Wonder if anyone can play like Woody does?
Cloudcolin 6 months ago
the music is HUNGARIAN HAPSODY, by Lizst. It´s also performed in Bugs bunny and Tom and Jerry. Gotta see the episodes, they´re also funny.

What is the title of that music the robber taps out at 1:25? It's often used to suggest death in cartoons & films.

It is a very difficult piece to play. Hungarian Rhapsody #2 is the name of the
piece. Watch Bugs Bunny play it and also also the pussy cat. By the way,
the notes played are exactly the ones on the music!

Do the TV stations know how happy they would make people if they started playing these cartoons again?
I want my niece to watch these cartoons and not those lame teen shows I see on TV now. Sigh...
