  • GeoGorce? Raedeon?

  • OK. FOR ALL YOU NON TECH NEWS READING gaming pc builders out there. ATI IS NO MORE as a company..they are GONE. DONE. JUST LIKE SkyTel I KNOW I USED TO WORK for Skytel they died in Mississhitty sometime between 2005 and 2008(realistic guestimate) inventory dept was the Virginia tech college building northern half on frontage road northbound near i55 north interstate. READ & research for your own sake of not looking ignorant. AMD fanboys READ YOUR TECH NEWS!

  • Mines the ATI Radeon Sapphire Vapour X 1GB GDDR5

  • ATI!

  • Something she can understand lol ,Start talking Makeup or monthly flows !

  • @SOLIE6226 LOL. that was soo wrong..but at the same time..SOO perfectly timed

  • ATI

  • @ImperialArmour lol. ATI doesn't make video card chipsets anymore. AMD does. god doesn't ANYONE out there fucking read tech news?

  • ATI ftw

  • ATI pwns

  • @doggysoftbg you're right..ati pwns THEMSELVES TO AMD :P

  • ATI or nVidia? GeGorce of >> Raedeon? << Whats a good low-budget video card to buy? lol chris learn 2 spell :P

  • ati xpress 200 FTW

  • to get strait to the point of this whole video, if one part of your pc is soo far behind you NEED to get a new gpu or cpu, just throw the entire thing away and get all new

  • wtf... i`ve 5770 & its a beast! i run every game (including crysis) on maxed out settings and it runs sweeeet.

guess these cards wud be helpful wen thr r multiple screens, otherwise for 1 monitor 5770 is more than sufficient.

  • @vgvgvg7412 Fucking retard, look at the date.... Firstly a 5770 can run two monitors 1920 x 1200 no problem with games on both screens, secondly the 5770 is not a beast, crossfire 5970's is beast......

  • The dog is like : "WTF are you saying. ?" She has a nice jacket though.

  • he's makes thing more complex for the girl to understand

  • But one thing that I don't like, is that, whatever Chris says - then it's true!... If Nvidia is best - then nvidia is best!.. I dont like that.

  • Nvidia !

  • ati low budget

    nvidia high power

me = nvidia all the way

  • @myid9876543 higher power?

i would take 5970 due to ownage of the 480 and 295.

    5870 > 470

    5850 > 460, 285

    :]]

  • @TroyPhares you havent seen the new asus 480 dual

neither have i, but i assure you its better than anything ati has ever produced.

anyways, yes, among all current cards the 5970 wins until you compare two of them against 4 480's

  • @myid9876543 yes, but performance wise at this moment, ATI has the edge. But for the future with fermi and all, I do have a 480, but in my machine i got a 5970 for now. i dont find myself a fanboy as i have a mobo that does quad sli and quad cf. I have to agree a ati/amd setup is low budget. their cards and all are for now, but when fermi is good to go, ill be ready for sli 480's :] I like the look of the 480 also, basic black haha

  • @TroyPhares

    wait a 480 and 5970? lucky bastard...

anyways my mobo has quad sli (with 2 295's or 2 9800gx 2's, it has 4 pcie x16 slots but for quad sli indiv. cards you need two nf200 bridge chips, of which each 295 or 9800gx2 has one of) and quad cf

anyways yea, i was talking about single gpu, and raw performance isnt always good, the 480 takes a shitload of power and makes a shitload of heat, the 5970 (dual gpu, which is why fermi is more powerful with 1 gpu) is much much better.

  • ATI!!!!!!

  • He's talking to her like she understands LMAO

  • Lol, u don't simplify it for her do u?

  • HI, what is the best graphic card out there? Is it ATI Radeon HD 5970?

  • @uphill248 ATi Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition.

  • @uphill248 Yeah

  • i just got a hp pavilion p6213w-b and i am looking to replace the video card but i dont know what will be compatible with windows 7 can you help

  • Video cards and internet security are the biggest cons for people who dont know computers.

  • c'mon chris - all she can hear is "blah blah blah - blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah"!!!

  • he is it good if I buy a Asus radeon hd 5750 1Gb Gddr5 with: Chipset: Radeon HD5750 memory:1024 MB Type memory:GDDR5 GPU: 700 MHz Memory speed:4600 MHz InterfacePCI-E x16 RAMDAC400 MHz TV-outHDMI DVI2 x D-subJa, convertor Max Resolutie2560 x 1600 pixels DirectX Versie11 HDMI1 x HDMI
  • no it isnt

  • i love my 295 gtx

    nividia ftw

  • i use nvidia because i understand the range.

i no that the 9800 is better than the 8800 because the number is larger

  • intel and ATI FTW.

  • i just perfer Nvidia

    always loved there products

    INTEL + NVIDIA!!

  • Dude - what planet do you live on?

Nvidia drivers have always been superior to ATI.

Think about CUDA - which ATI is only now copying with STREAM etc.

Saying that NVIDIA drivers are less stable on windows is just a false statement and fan boy comment.

  • did he say now that vista is shit or something else

  • yes because most video cards dont run with vista or only new ones run

  • the internet is going to be slower than the hard drive

  • What runs best with xp? because i can't even restart my pc without getting video problems using nvidia, but it works well when it is working!

  • But if you gaming you gunna get a Nvidia.

  • the girl is speechless with locker thinking, what in the world is this? lol

  • ive been with Ati since the 9800xt, much better bang for your buck indeed.

  • Wow you guys are right ATI's a real bang for your buck i'm moving on from Nvidia ATI PWNZ

  • thas true, ati radeon 4850 can beat the 9800 gtx, 9800 gtx+ 8800 gtx. And the 4850 is way cheaper

  • depends on if the game is optimized for it

and ati doesnt have cuda like thing so well supported

  • ati radeon is the best!

  • Radeon cards are great. They work on vista, have dual monitering right, great in gaming. Nvidia is more expensive.

  • nvidia works with allot more games much better than ati but you get better cards from ati for your money their realy just the same ting

  • NVIDIA BEATS ATI

  • but no1 uses linux..so ATI!! TO THE WORLD!

  • Ati is best bang for the buck they make the monsters but nvidia make so many cool boxs! and there cards looks so good!

  • my hd4870 pwns all

  • hahah dog's going to shit on her lap hahahha...

  • i run 2 8800GT's and its worth every cent ..there reliable cards and relativily cheap

  • As Chris said in this video, its come down the what your willing to spend on a GPU but also what you want that GPU to do. I.e. Im a Major gamer, playing at 1680x1050 on a 20" HD monitor so i want GPU's which can handle that resolution as well as the setting i choose. So i have 2 3870xt's, why?, because it was cheaper for me (having a Crossfire mobo) to get a second card rather than get a new card altogether.

  • GEFORCE IS THE BEST.

  • lol GeGorce and Raedeon lol man thats funny NVIDIA beats it out of the water i even suggest the X3100 over any ATI card cuz drivers r so bad on ATI cards

  • NVIDIA!!!

  • @crazyasian300 ATI!!!!!

  • @crazyasian300 ATI :')

  • RandomDota, I have a 8800GTX in my gaming rig and it IS worth every cent.

  • Radeon is BALLS, never get that shit.

  • emm im running world of warcraft ATM and im looking for the untamite framerate experiance at a low budget. (somewhere like $200-$300)...

im currently running 2046 MB of ram, with a

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500... im looking to buy a new card. (has to be NVIDIA and fit with the requirements to play WoW) any suggestions?

  • Just bought a 9250 Radeon!

    Don't complain about my card.

I'm not a gamer and I am just buying the card so I can use two monitors at once.

  • ive got a radeon. and my fan is broken too. DAMIT! im good with working computers not installing them... my dad is the oposite. a few days ago my computer (a fairly good computer) stoped running. i did a system recovery and lost all my info. DAMIT! my dad took out the graphics card and somehow it worked. WTF. HE THINKS IT MIGHT HAVE TO DO WITH the graphics card. fuk i just wanna play my game. battlfield 2142

  • reminds me of my mom...technologically retarded. With out us geeks, the world could operate

  • my ati cards fan broke idk if its just the card or the poor quality of the company i only had my card for about 6 months

  • Radion 7500. Very cheap. S-vid, VGA and DVI outputs. 32 or 64mb. Supports multi screen. GREAT!

  • AT the end she really didnt care what he was saying LOL

  • it's probably a stupid question so please forgive me but can u instal your own graphics cards into an iMac?

  • yeah there are some upgrade able videos card for i mac wait do u have the one wsith the srceen cause they don't have videos and u cant upgrade it i think .. the only upgradablte computer on apple is i think mm itsd was mac pro or something which cost like 3k ..

  • omg OF COURSE GRAPHICS CARDS RUN ON XP!!!! NVIDIA IS BETTER get one of these!!!!

    GeForce 8800 Ultra * GeForce 8800 GTX * GeForce 8800 GTS (640 MB & 320 MB) * GeForce 8800 GT * GeForce 8600 GTS * GeForce 8600 GT * GeForce 8500 GT * GeForce 8400 GS

  • i'm thinking of getting gf 8800 gtx..

  • not worth the money, you should settle for a 8600gts

  • only with gtx and ultra can you have 3 way sli, so get a GTX or two or three, i am ;)

  • dont! Save up to get the nvidia 9800 dude!

  • lol i don't need a 9800 ..

cause my monitor is only .. 19 inchs

  • lol she dont know what hese saying

  • agreed

  • can video cards run on xp??

  • Obviously?

  • oh lord

  • Wow what a scary question! "Can a processer work on XP" DUHHHH Yes!!!!!

  • Well i have an ATI and its the best bang for your buck... Honestly I got a X1600 Pro... only for like a $100...

  • instead os upgrading y dont u just overclock as it is possible the when its old or dead buy a new one

  • did Chris swear?

    at 2.21?

  • ya i thought he said " now that vista is shit" but he said shipped XD

  • LOL - I'm pretty sure he did ;)

  • im getting XFX Geforce 8500 GT 512MB soon woot!!

  • hey wut does it mean 512 mb in a graphic card? i noe the higher number is better (8500) but do u want higher memory or wut?

  • video cards have their own ram nowadays. They really are their own computer which is possible through pci express. If this is all greek to you do some research on what the numbers relate to (just split it up into speed and storage) and what the numbers relate to (compatibility and capablity)

  • why not get an 8600? Get two for about 300 and run sli to get about as close as you can get to 8800 without being 8800

  • good point +1 , but two 8600 gts would only be slightly more expensive and give way better performance

  • Really? good looking out, by the way, I'd wait till after nvidia comes out with their 9 series (on wikipedia it says they are releasing it sometime in the fourth quarter.

  • yeah, they're gonna be great cards

  • The best cheapest video card is the geforce fx5200 because it supports a direct 9.0. Not like the radeon 9250 which supports directx 8.1.

  • yeah, i usually agree on everything you say, but NVIDIA are perfectly stable on Windows, in 8 years of having 3 different computer running an NVIDIA card under 98/2000/XP, i never had any problem related to Drivers, maybe games sometimes required newest driver, but that is tottaly normal since new games use new effects

  • It is a matter of preference as well. Although I run Nvidia 7900 GS on XP so no game can argue, for everything else I am highly impressed and actually prefer the cinema and desktop appearance quality with the ATI X1800 256 card that I tried.

  • So what's a good midrange Video Card?

  • nVidia!!!

  • The girl was so bored she nearly died at the end.

    :-)

  • But she survived!

    :-(

  • shame on you! nVidia G80 GPUs 0wn anything ATi has to offer, and they're stable in Vista.

  • ATI for windows Nvidia for Linux
