Everyone will see this weekend that Lyoto was off his game last fight against Shogun. I am a big Lyoto fan and agree he was very lucky to get the win last time, but it will not be that close again!
The amount off good mma fighters he's fought and is still underfeated is crazy . Like him or not , he's a freak. You can't win a title using leg kicks alone, lol. Yes Machida's leg was hurt, but that doesn't he was out scored. If you really watched the fight, he was countering. 1st 3 rounds was Machida's.
Machida won a single round at best. R5 Machida is bleeding, limping, bruised, and slowed considerably. Shogun looks fresh. He outpointed, outstruck, outhurt Machida and won that fight, in truth.
u probably watched the fight with the commentary on. joe rogan was too pumped about shogun, he never mentioned the counterkicks and punches and good takedown defenses.
it couldve gone either way. he didnt BEAT the champion...

The amount off good mma fighters he's fought and is still underfeated is crazy . Like him or not , he's a freak. Has one average fight against shogun who's a gun fighter also and people are bagging him. lyoto needs to keep faking and sliping right to counter shoguns counter kicks. he was getting lured with shogun squaring up for kicks. lure him to kick then slip angle for a strike or plum. shogun is gonna cover up after he kicks but on the right its a odd angle for him. lyoto also need to change it up go for a TD and get back right up for points. the more fans boo the more he's doing it right.

Maybe you should get the credentials of the fighters correct before mouthing off about them only knowing wrestling.
Those guys have to observe and be tactical, real fighting isn't a movie.
They use from Muay Thai to Jiu jitsu whatever is the best to get the opponent down.
Go back to your Chuck Norris movies or learn something about fighting at least.

You can't win a title using leg kicks alone, lol. Yes Machida's leg was hurt, but that doesn't he was out scored. If you really watched the fight, he was countering. 1st 3 rounds was Machida's.

Looks isnt everything man, just because shogun looks fresh doesnt mean he won. The judges arent any sham judges too by the way. And if youre saying Machida was in any danger at all, i think you must be watching a different fight. Machida was never in any danger. And he wasnt outstruck, leg kicks maybe, but leg kicks alone dont win fights.
