Upcoming Ayahuasca ceremony in Peru from the 7th March to the 21st March 2012 Please contact Alyssan Balmforth corazondemeloncita@hotmail.com or sacreddimension
ayahuasca's cool but too freaky and hard to make- i'd just reccomend trippin on morning glory seeds, you can find them on eBay for only like $5 an ounce, theyre like LSD but more mellow and much less prone to causing bad trips
During an ayahuasca session, my shaman guide, Enrique, told me that he saw that my wife was under the influence of evil witchcraft passed to her through her mother. He said that this curse would eventually destroy my wife and everyone close to her. My modern-world interpretation of my wife's problems is that she has Borderline Personality Disorder, which causes her to be abusive and violent toward members of her family. I think her condition is incurable. I am divorcing her; she is lost.
It is my belief that Ayahuasca is the Tree of Knowledge that was referred to in the Book of Genesis. Call me crazy, but I think that's it - that's the one.
@luv2bud ~ I really loved LSD & shrooms until I got into heroin, even the couple times that I have gotten clean from heroin I've tried psychedelics & didn't take to them as I had in my younger days. I don't like them at all while being strung out on heroin. Heroin & every other opiate out there ruined psychedelics for me & it ruined my life.
@LordHillsidor Unfortunately I hear you loud and clear from personal experience. Late 87-92 where my years for psychedelics....then I got hooked on heroin, buprenorphine now. I spent 3.5 yrs in prison for dope possesion, the few times I've tried shrooms again I have had a craving to get loaded and not really enjoyed the trip the way I remember . My interest has been in one day having an iboga/ibogaine experience, however, being on the US east coast makes it tough!
@sbyre888 ~Prison sucks. No need to say more than that. But have you ever used/heard of Kratom?I guess drinking Kratom in low dosage is sort of speed like, but in large quantities it's more opiate narcotic.I hear it's good to mix in Blue Lotus 'cause it's natural chemical I believe is oxazepam(I think,I could be wrong for sure) which would be a natural benzo mix in.I'm thinking of growing a 1/2 acre of opium poppies, cook the sap to smokeable opium&mix it with good herb/hash & drink the teas too.
@LordHillsidor I tried kratom while in Amsterdam, tried as many things as I could. The kratom started with a little speediness (1 hr)...then felt quite opiate like(2-3 hrs)...then had the crappiest crash/hangover (3-4 hrs with horid headache) other than alcohol...way worse than coming down off an opiate (when not addicted). That all happened over about 6-8 hours.
@sbyre888 ~ Do you believe Kratom could be used to break long term opiate addiction? I've heard good things about it, I would be more interested/satisfied in achieving the opiate effect instead of the speed effect. I truly hate speed. What I'm addicted to are heroin/opiates & sometimes periods of buprenorphine. Is Kratom too good to be true?
@LordHillsidor No, I don't believe so, I read an article about hard-core Kratom addiction in Indonesia, stealing for it....... I'd stik with the Bup., it takes time to wean off. I actually want to get a thousandths scale so that I can remove 2 mg of the weight from the 8 mg pill that weighs 400 mg, every day with virtually no notice of reduction, off w/in 6-months?! They are sort of expensive though.
@LordHillsidor I have successfully kicked heroin through a very intense mushroom trip. The urge never goes away, life just comes back again, it's always in the back of yer mind though, but such is with all our addictions. We all have some or one, it's just keeping them under control. When U make a decision to finally stop, one week of sickness is nothing new, and U shall come back again, renewed.
@LordHillsidor "Liquid Cocaine' from Tatanka was horrible too, I was sold it because I enjoyed Tatanka's 'Liquid Ecstacy" and they were out...salesman said they were identical, just named different for marketing...when looking at fine print of ingredients I saw they were NOT the same
Burroughs had a really hard time on ayahuasca. He hated LSD and psilocybin mushrooms, too. Psychedelics & hallucinogens just were not for him. They force you to confront yourself and reality with an intensity that is hard for some people to handle. Opiates were Burroughs' thing. They numbed him, wrapped him in a protective layer, and gave him escape from the pain he felt so deeply.
@luv2bud What U just said is the Compete truth right there. That's why when confronted with such intensity, our minds really get put to the test. There's so much going on that humans haven't even got a hold on yet, only using partial mind. But this shouldn't scare us away, only strengthen the grip on exploration with psychadelics.
Using such an experience can allow us to change ourselves, evolve mentally...
Agree, this is quite a find. Imagine it would have been something set up for Burroughs by his secratary James G, in the early eighties. More would be good.
Read a new book by Dr. Diane Powell called "The ESP Enigma." She claims that all psychic phenomena in humans is co-incidental with raised levels of DMT in the bloodstream, and that DMT is produced in our bodies, being released in minute quantities at night when we dream.
The body also releases a flood of DMT when we die. Rick Strassman is engaged in research that may isolate the site of this DMT production, which he threorizes is the pineal gland, or pineal eye, located deep in the brain.
If that were so Burrough's wouldn't have been fighting a junk addiction all his life (he died on the methadone program).
What Psychedelics can do is open your mind to the possibility that change is possible. That in itself can be a big revelation to someone afraid to change. Sadly the only true thing that cures an addict is the courage of the addict himself.
Ayahuasca (B cappi) vine itself is not psychoactive, it's merely an organic MAO inhibitor. The admixture plants are the "magic" ones.
yes surprised this existed- let's look at this thru modern eyes- how old are these faith healer's traditions really? And how stoned does this "Ayahuasca get you?
Ayahuasca has been used for 2,500 years...The main compound in Ayahuasca is DMT. The most powerful psychoactive drug known. Ayahuasca doesn't get you stoned so much as it takes you to another dimension of spirits and psychic manifestations. It is not a recreational drug but a sacred medicine.
@Walshd55 I think it's fascinating that western civilisation has demonised enthogens to such an extent and classified them along side non natural drugs. Thousands of years of history and culture basically turned into bullshit and called voodoo. We have so much to learn from these people...they were here before us!
Very interesting! I had no idea this film existed. I couln´t find any other info about in Google or salomonarts (and catgroovedotcom doesn´t exist anymore) Please post more info. What year was it shot? Who directed it? Many thxs
