Book 1, chapter 1, starts on page 31. It's pretty simple, but I like the combination of Fuka's competence and how he tells her about Yotsuba.

Really, the thing you're going to have to do to cross from cool to frickin' awesome is accept that it'll take time to do right. I know how it is to want the relatively instant gratification of posting your video ASAP, but take your time. For instance, plan to go to the zoo 2-3 times this summer and plan to get the video for the zoo trip up by the end of September.

This video was a wonderful pilot and really shows that it's going to be worth it to extra time and effort.

Suggestions to add to the awesome:

1. Establish the characters by a lead-in scene, e.g. Y/K at home, doorbell, Y/K/J watch TV

2. TV clip--film it yourself so you can get the exact lines and Bethsuba's repetition is clear

3.Scripts and rehearsals--have them--and takes

4. Don't take away any dialog when you adapt the manga to script form. Yotsuba& fans have different favorite lines and a missed line can be jarring. (You missed my favorite line, for instance.)
