my friend is deathly afraid of birds, she made us walk an hour walk that should have been a 30 minute walk because there was a bird on the side walk. On a ride a bird feel into her rollar coster cart because it got hit, the blood was on her leg and it was flopping and she died inside.

I think most of my phobias are pretty typical:

snakes

sharks (esp basking sharks, which are harmless)

water; I can't take baths; if I see my hair drifting in the water around me, I get even more phobic. I'm esp. terrified of drowning in an enclosed space.

outer space

huge objects (enormous buildings, blue whales/whale sharks (also harmless, giant boats, the universe)

heights up to a point - basically, if I know the fall would kill me, oddly the fear leaves me.

Pretty common fears.

Even though its funny, people can get phobias from whatever you can think of, its a psychological problem. Maury is right when he called the guy out with a bird. its a treatment for phobias, its what you call systematic desensitization, its the only way.
