@averredude101 Good, but when heavy turbulence, hijack, sabotage or aircraft system abnormal occur on high speed and altitude, fear and nightmares will haunt crew and passengers for whole life.
@CYKind900 I would be scared to be on a cruise ship, pirates are everywhere, and its less security out at sea unlike the airport where there are metal detectors and cops everywhere...
@averredude101 Really? ain't you heard about on-board security and coast guard? In case of emergency, passengers can put on life jacket and jump into water to save themselves and boats tend to stay afloat for hours or minutes before it sank. So at 40,000 feet and high velocity, I don't think the chance of survival is higher than lazy sea cruiser. FYI, things still can slip pass the metal detector so watch out at the airport.
@CYKind900 i dont think thats helpful 1000km out at sea, i would hate to be out at sea in a disaster and meanwhile planes can actually glide at high velocity, while boats float they don`t actually move to safety
@CYKind900 i dont think thats helpful 1000km out at sea, i would hate to be out at sea in a disaster and meanwhile planes can actually glide at high velocity, while boats float they don`t actually move to safety
shit if you do this on the pride of america ncl ship you will get terminated stupid crew ships with thire stupid rules waaa im never working on a cruuise ship again
THEY ARE FUCK ALL,PAID SHIT,SLEEP SHIT,FUCKIN EXPLOITED BY SHIPPING COMPANIES,AND IF FUCKIN KILLS ME TO HEAR BRITISH TRAINED OFFICERS SHOUTING INSSTRUCTIONS.The average trained brit officer is a wanker tonnage tax asbo, that spent half his time learning from british ratings
Guys ,this is sign on crew , not late . One passenger was not allowed of the ship because no passport ,second is sign on crew. You can clearly see that the crew Cary luggage and he present sign on documents to the crew pursers. Most probably they don't made it to the ship when it was docked or the ship was at anchor and they were tendering.I was on the same situation once.
@bmmartinfan4life lol... and since you have not worked in the industry you dont really know. Pretty common for crew members flying around the world to meet a ship at times to have delayed flights... missed flights... mishaps on transportation from airport to dock... or custom issues that cause huge delays for the worker. Its a huge pain and the ship leaves no matter what.
From the sounds of it its one crew member the DJ who had trouble at the airport and the other is a cone who wanted off the ship but the Government of wherever they are wouldnt let him fly cause he didnt have a passport. Dumbass.
Ive seen this happen once before our fly on Comedians flight was late and we didnt have a show to replace him so he came on from the pilot boat made for some good jokes.
the old man sounds greek! they are really mean! and yell a lot! and that guy is definitely not late for work!!! i mean, how is he going to be late for work with his luggage!!!!!! i dont think hes getting a warning, it was not his fault . i never got any of those
that's true. I was just earning from 900 dollars a month in one of the passenger cruise ship. Too hell job! Now, here in US for just 10 days, I can get 1,000 dollars! I am so thankful I'm no longer working there. To hell with the "superior positions"! You will be rotten there forever!
At the begging, i mean first months on board, first contract....like a rookie...you complain from everything....how great you were home and what a slave you are now....but the same individuals are coming also second contract, third fourth, and so on....you get to appreciate money that you earn, the fast paced environment with a few off hours per day, the sleep that lasts more than 5 hours is HEAVEN...The spoiled brats will never make it through though.....only strong people allowed.
@danieliulianarama da!! it's absolutely true... in my first contract I used to say every fuckin day "I hate this, I won't never never come back" .... n I'm going for my second contract next month
I listened to it again and the Purser said he left today. Either way, a right good cock up! I have worked on over 30 cruiseships and they don't put late employees on the Pilot Boat. And yes, those Pursers are overworked and damn near always VERY CRANKY!!!
He was not "late for work." Putting a crewmember on the Pilot Boat is high risk insurance wise. He came on with luggage so likely his contract had ended and he lost his passport on the way to the airport. The Port Agent can call the ship and they let him back board so the Crew Purser could deal with his passport issue. Had he been late they would have flown him to the next port. Being as though it is a Princess ship the Captain likely said, Bullocks! Bring the wanker aboard!
I have worked on NCl SKY when was international before it change to Pride of Aloha. Let me tell you the women on the international crew ships that get a little power in their position are fucking bitches. they treat their coworkers like shit. I am Romanian and all the Romanians that were in upper job positions were rude and full of themselves. I was so glad when we got to San Francisco and they left. The funny part being an American Resident I was making $2800 a month while they were at $600 LOL
@ShannenLane Its because there merchant navy, i dont like it though as they think there high and mighty just cause they have some gold stripes. They should try being in the RN
i work at sea and we call these cruise ships cunt ships because they are full of rich cunts who treat the crew like muck. ps we carry trucks not cunts
one left the ship in morning on his own, but could not get anywhere because it took costum by surprise, people don't hust leave cruise ship wherever they want and go whenever they want (visa issues).
other was plain late for first embarkation and first day onboard
ships are gay, being an airline pilot is way cooler and much more fun
