First, why would the patient be in his 20's? Usually a prostate exam is not necessary until a guy is 40 and later. Second, a prostate exam is not all the bad, had on last week, it took no longer than 5 seconds.

It's an enjoyable part of any physical exam. I urge, all you 20-30 something young men to go and have your prostate exam. You will be glad you did. What are you men afraid of? I had prostate cancer, and, yes, it was diagnosed in the early stages. I had surgery, I'm completely cured. I owe my life to the PSA AND DRE!!!!!
