  • wow that effect with bed kicks ass

  • I just love looking through Edwin's eyes. And I hope the poor man doesn't break that antique lamp! :)

  • loved the atmosphere and the gentle flow of the music. this isn't a euphemism for falling asleep - I felt myself being tugged along into a slow, methodical dreamlike world. they made do with simple effects, but it was really very classy.

  • @Saltheigh , maybe You can think these were simple effects, but its were very innovative at that time: no one moved the camera before, this film is also one of the first exaple of "expressive" editing

  • @iconaus yeah, I meant simple compared to modern day.

  • @Saltheigh In my opinion these effetcs are more surprising than the modern ones. Ones you shold have lot of fantasy to create a new effect, now all what you need is to be a good mathematician.

  • Wow! I think the drunken staggering scene was captured very realistically. Reminds me of my twenties.

  • at 1.40, what is the thing in the middle?

Is it just like a pole a lampost?
