I think they should make a new rule to stop this happening again. That is that there should be no ties allowed on the judges leaderboard. If there is a tie, then take into account who got the most 10s, 9s, 8s etc and if there is still a tie, the Len as head judge should get the casting vote. Come the time where they have to do 2 dances each, take the highest scoring dance into account first before the 10s, 9s etc. What does everyone think?

Whatever about the phoneline stuff,I think its because John Sergent backed out,they where down an elemination week,they had to have 3 people in the final and they couldent just cancel out a week,because of T.V scheduals and stuff,so they had no choice but to let everyone through.Has nobody else considered this???

Rumour has it that Tom has been getting the most vots in the last 3 weeks, thats why they did this, because the public were voting for Tom to stay but if they went ahead without doing anything, even though he had the most public votes, it would of meant he was in the bottom 2. The public has been voting for Tom, so he deserves to be there.
This result was made because many people complained about their voets to Tom not being able to be worth anything. And then after the decision only 200 complaints were made, tahts not even 1% of the people watching, in BB you would get 200 complaints for someone looking at someone badly... 200 complaints is nothing, the amount of complaints before the decison was made was more and that was to complain that itw asnt fair for Tom.

People who voted are within their rights to demand a refund - it doesnt matter if the votes are carried over to next week - people were voting to save someone from the dance off - as this was cancelled - then all votes should be too - and ALL money refunded.

Yes it was however, when John left the BBC & the show announced the final would have two couples. That was said on numerous occasions shortly after his departure. And look, what do we get? Three in the final. And another con from a channel who refuses to have it any other way, except their own.
The show is a fuckin joke. They had to fix it this week, after the bullying judges messed up the format by forcing Sergent to quit. You bunch of losers sit in every saturday night texting away. With every text and phone call getting ripped off a little more each time.

The BBC said it's not refunding any money, imo they should. The show did mislead every viewer watching the show. In this case, the judges points should not have counted towards the overall score. There's millions who do not understand how the points & viewers votes work. When they realised this, the judges points should have been sacraficed in order for the PUBLIC WHO PAY FOR THE LICENSE FEE to have the vote.
& if anyone believes it's going to CiN, then you need your head testing. The Beeb were already exposed for keeping a massive sum of money - what's to stop them doing it again. They already said there'd be no more scandals & here were are: slap bang in the middle of another.

It's revealed today. The voting system is flawed. Everyone would have wasted their money because their votes couldn't affect the result. This and the John Sargeant fiasco put's egg on the face of the BBC. Let's have a "They shoot horses don't they", style danceathon, last one standing wins, then scrap this gutter television.
There must have been somthing wrong with the voting system because that ending was deffinatly unplanned. They spent ages filming the end dance and than (I counted) there was 14 advert inbetween that and the next program (hich also started early). Definatly something dodgey went on.

It annoyed me how len said there was faults in some of the dances but still gave them tens? and i think craig should be a bit more generous with his scoring and give out some tens more often! anyways its going to be an awesome final!

With the leaderboard as it stood, Rachel/Lisa on 3 points and Tom on 1, everyone in Britain could have voted for Tom but he'd still have a total of 4. One of the girls would also get 4 points (bottom of the vote) and the other 5. So it was impossible for Tom to avoid the dance-off.
They misled viewers by saying that you could vote to save your fave from the dance-off. With Tom, you couldn't.
Rachel was undermarked and Lisa overmarked by the judges to ensure they tied on marks.
I thought it be weird to have just 2 people in the final, they always have 3 before dropping 1 out on the night, then deciding the winner. I'm glad they did this, as I think Tom deserves to win but wouldn't have last night basically haha.
He was at "disadvantage" because he danced really bad. It was his own fault. I will never watch this show again. This is a J-O-K-E!!! Rachel and Lisa were ROBBED.

He did not dance badly at all,it's just Rachel and Lisa are constantly over marked Im not saying they can't dance because they can,and to say that she/he will never watch it again is fucking OTT
The reason why they put everyone through to the final, had nothing to do with the X Factor final, being a fix by the BBC, and all to do with both Lisa and Rachel being given identical scores and so was deemed unfair on Tom. Even if he polled 3 times as many viewers votes, he would still be in the dance off, so was deemed to be at a disadvantage. In order for it to seem fairer, they carried over the viewers votes and have a 3 way final as it should be. And only viewers votes count.
Tess said they HAD to close the phone lines, so i'm guessing maybe because of the x factor final as well, the phone lines got jammed or something, and it's not really fair to vote somebody off, imagine how many complaints they would have got.
I don't think it was a fix at all, they had to close the phone lines during the show, so it's the best thing for all the contestants.

BBC - shame on you!! What a fix!!! I am so fuckin pissed off with the whole show - tonights ep was a total farce and complete waste of time!!! I was soo lookin forward to seeing that pair of arrogant arseholes Lisa & Bren get voted off and instead they're through to the bloody final!!! WHAT A JOKE! I pay my license fee for this fix?! I feel cheated! It's obvious Len gave Rachel that 8 for the American Smooth to ensure that Lisa and Racheal would be tied, with Tom bottom essentially leaving the public vote null and void! Thus leaving us with THREE finalists, as planned all along by the DEVIOUS BBC!! The whole situation came about because of the John Sergeant fiasco. Well done Beeb insiders! You did well to get what you wanted. Suffice to say I won't be watching the final!!
By the by I'm afraid! It just scuppers my confidence in the BBC when they go and do something like this. It's just WAY too 'convenient' how both Lisa and Racheal got the same total. Racheal was underscored for her second dance, 'conveniently' leaving her with the same total as Lisa. Thus rendering all public say so in the matter void. Quite 'convenient' wouldn't you say? They've now caught up with the week that John Sergeant missed leaving the show and they have their three finalists as planned.
I thought Rachel's AS deserved an 8 though or a 9 at most I didn't think it deserved the 10 bruno gave it. Although I agree it was bad what happened tonight! But I'm glad that they have all gone through cause even though Tom wasn't as good as he usually is tonight, I still think he was slightly undermarked, & it was unfair that his fans had no chance at all of saving him, and were wasting their money.
The judges scores were 3, 3, 1, so even if Tom got the most public votes, the score would be 5, 4, 4. There was no way for Tom to avoid the dance-off, therefore making the public's 50% of the vote void. The BBC didn't realise this straight away (neither did I), so they opened the phonelines, and then had to close them again and roll the votes over to avoid a telling off from OFCOM.
I think it would help if I knew how the scoring worked...so, am I right in thinking that the person with the most public votes gets 3 points, then whoever gets the nest highest gets 2 points, then finally the last person gets one point?

The BBC said it's not refunding any money, imo they should. The show did mislead every viewer watching the show. In this case, the judges points should not have counted towards the overall score. There's millions who do not understand how the points & viewers votes work. When they realised this, the judges points should have been sacraficed in order for the PUBLIC WHO PAY FOR THE LICENSE FEE to have the vote.

The BBC should refund the voters money.
Although I think it will be a good final with 3 couples.
Many people vote for a different couple each week depending on who danced the best, carrying votes over may mean they won't vote for their favourite.
It's no surprise, it's simple maths, it happened in the Aus version of SCD.
I know this is not the most important news in the UK, but The BBC is funded by the public and for the BBC to rip them off again via dodgy phone-in is outrageous.

it put a huge smile on my face to see everyone so happy when they announced noone would be going!! i think it's pretty pathetic that people are complaining that a couple weren't devastated last night, regardless of who you support in the show!!

People saying this was unfair on the girls are wrong. I'm sorry but just like last week, the judges OVER marked the girls and undermarked the boys. I agree Tom was a bit off tonight espesh in the Jive but i didnt think rachel and vincent were that good either. Just my opinion but personally I'm glad there are 3 in the final. But blatent fix for the girls to be joint 1st. If Tom had gone out last night I certainly wouldn't have watched the final..

Ha ha! Tom knew he was going and that's why he was the happiest of the lot. I didn't vote last night and I'm glad I didn't. I can vote twice or three times next week. It was something to do with the votes wouldn't affect the scores and one couple was always going to be in the dance off. Strictly always has three in the final.

It's revealed today. The voting system is flawed. Everyone would have wasted their money because their votes couldn't affect the result. This and the John Sargeant fiasco put's egg on the face of the BBC. Let's have a "They shoot horses don't they", style danceathon, last one standing wins, then scrap this gutter television.

There must have been somthing wrong with the voting system because that ending was deffinatly unplanned. They spent ages filming the end dance and than (I counted) there was 14 advert inbetween that and the next program (hich also started early). Definatly something dodgey went on.

It annoyed me how len said there was faults in some of the dances but still gave them tens? and i think craig should be a bit more generous with his scoring and give out some tens more often! anyways its going to be an awesome final!

It's simple.
With the leaderboard as it stood, Rachel/Lisa on 3 points and Tom on 1, everyone in Britain could have voted for Tom but he'd still have a total of 4. One of the girls would also get 4 points (bottom of the vote) and the other 5. So it was impossible for Tom to avoid the dance-off.
They misled viewers by saying that you could vote to save your fave from the dance-off. With Tom, you couldn't.
Rachel was undermarked and Lisa overmarked by the judges to ensure they tied on marks.

I thought it be weird to have just 2 people in the final, they always have 3 before dropping 1 out on the night, then deciding the winner. I'm glad they did this, as I think Tom deserves to win but wouldn't have last night basically haha.

The reason why they put everyone through to the final, had nothing to do with the X Factor final, being a fix by the BBC, and all to do with both Lisa and Rachel being given identical scores and so was deemed unfair on Tom. Even if he polled 3 times as many viewers votes, he would still be in the dance off, so was deemed to be at a disadvantage. In order for it to seem fairer, they carried over the viewers votes and have a 3 way final as it should be. And only viewers votes count.

Tess said they HAD to close the phone lines, so i'm guessing maybe because of the x factor final as well, the phone lines got jammed or something, and it's not really fair to vote somebody off, imagine how many complaints they would have got.
I don't think it was a fix at all, they had to close the phone lines during the show, so it's the best thing for all the contestants.

BBC - shame on you!! What a fix!!! I am so fuckin pissed off with the whole show - tonights ep was a total farce and complete waste of time!!! I was soo lookin forward to seeing that pair of arrogant arseholes Lisa & Bren get voted off and instead they're through to the bloody final!!! Rachael is definitely the most talented of the 3 and deserves to win but fairly and squarely!!! Thanks to Sargeant this years SCD has been ruined!!! This absolutely stinks. Whats the point in having Tom in the final now, people have already voted for Rachel and Lisa and their votes have been put through to the final. So that means Tom is already on the loss going into the final. They should really scrap the dance-offs and just go straight through to public vote.
The judges have really shown messed up this time.

It's obvious Len gave Rachel that 8 for the American Smooth to ensure that Lisa and Racheal would be tied, with Tom bottom essentially leaving the public vote null and void! Thus leaving us with THREE finalists, as planned all along by the DEVIOUS BBC!! The whole situation came about because of the John Sergeant fiasco. Well done Beeb insiders! You did well to get what you wanted. Suffice to say I won't be watching the final!!

By the by I'm afraid! It just scuppers my confidence in the BBC when they go and do something like this. It's just WAY too 'convenient' how both Lisa and Racheal got the same total. Racheal was underscored for her second dance, 'conveniently' leaving her with the same total as Lisa. Thus rendering all public say so in the matter void. Quite 'convenient' wouldn't you say? They've now caught up with the week that John Sergeant missed leaving the show and they have their three finalists as planned.

I thought Rachel's AS deserved an 8 though or a 9 at most I didn't think it deserved the 10 bruno gave it. Although I agree it was bad what happened tonight! But I'm glad that they have all gone through cause even though Tom wasn't as good as he usually is tonight, I still think he was slightly undermarked, & it was unfair that his fans had no chance at all of saving him, and were wasting their money.

The judges scores were 3, 3, 1, so even if Tom got the most public votes, the score would be 5, 4, 4. There was no way for Tom to avoid the dance-off, therefore making the public's 50% of the vote void. The BBC didn't realise this straight away (neither did I), so they opened the phonelines, and then had to close them again and roll the votes over to avoid a telling off from OFCOM.
