:) gg Loki. I don't know about multiplayer, but in singleplayer the british chariots are pretty much useless (especially against non-barbarian factions). The strength of the britons is in numbers, the scaring effect and morale boosting effect (since their morale is really low). So the best combination usually is warbands, druids, headhurlers and swordsmen.
What I'm trying to say is that Selifator should have taken less chariots and more men in general....
Online chariots dominate if used correctly. By selecting infantry over chariots or ranged units with Britannia, you are actually giving your enemy a fighting chance at winning.
The reason for deeming the chariots useless might be the micromanagement. I suck at it... well... I can do micro on them but then I'm incapable to manage the other units. That probably is why I don't use them. I prefer to use mercenary cavalry ;)
Yes, nice one. I was also moved by how long the gladiators held out against heavy chariot attacks even while they were fixed in place. If anyone is interested in more pre-Marian stuff and hasn't seen them yet, I have a pre-Marian-only video (also with Selifator, as it happens), and PoM has a good video of himself beating a post-Marian army with a pre-Marian which makes good viewing, though that last was only possible due to a long list of errors the enemy made that passively walked into defeat.
I am really surprised how well the Triarii did against the chariots.

I've experimented with Triarii, from what I've found is that Triarii can actually take on cataphracts (with their mace attack).
