the whole wheat sandwich bread (wonder) definitely makes the sandwich just that much better. i would rather have a fish sandwich from horace & dickie's than anyplace else, they are definitely the best. on a nice spring/summer day, pick up a fish sandwich there, go over to the park a few blocks away (i forget which park). you will be in heaven.
if you are in new haven and can't get to horace & dickie's, d'amato's has the best fish sandwich in town.

I was very disappointed with the food. Was not ready for it to be a take out only too. I can make better tasting fish at home. That and I must have gone at a bad time because everyone was acting like a total asshat.
