  • great music....soulful...masterful.

  • George Jones sang,"whose gonna fill there shoes" and here are the people that should have. Buddy Miller. Lyle Lovett. Steve Earle. Hayes Carll. James Mcmurtry. Chris Knight. Paul Thorn and so many more.

  • This man should be a superstar. There are very few that can compare. He's an equal to Lyle lovett and Steve earle and many others here in Texas. Thank God for Texas and the music and writers here. It dont get no better than this.

  • just stumbled upon these two

    ha where have i been?

    thanx for the tuber

  • Just hear this album - oh my god it is brilliant! So glad to find these guys!

  • Hey Buddy,

I understand there's still an opening for Rick Stein's band in Austin. Maybe you, me, Duke and Josh D can play at the Backroom this weekend.

  • My fav album of 2009 !!! Not a bad song on it.

  • We saw Buddy Miller on the Cayamo cruise in March 2008. Missed him in 2009 due to his illness. Would love to see Buddy and Julie on the boat in 2010.

  • great clip

  • We're with you Buddy! Get well soon XXX

  • Universeal United House of Prayer was their last album and the best album I have ever bought in over 40 years of collecting recordings it rocks but a lot of people can't get past the title.Personally as a true believer in GOD I got no hang ups with it and thats a plus to me because it rocks only one bad song on it and Dylan wrote it.."God On Our Side"

  • Buddy and Julie are great. This is an interesting video too, big time-love the song "gasoline and matches" already. Those guitars in the background float my boat, who makes em?

  • The wacky looking guitars are by an Italian company called Wandre. They've become kind of collectable, so they're hard to find and spendy. Buddy is a rep for Eastwood Guitars who make a commendable copy that's pretty affordable. It's all about those weird pick-ups though. I don't know how they're wound, but the tone is part of Buddy's signature sound.

  • O, thank you sooo much for this!!! Buddy & Julie Miller are my absolute Favorites!!! I had the pleasure of seeing them both perform, opening for Emmylou Harris a # of yrs ago & that was it for me, I was hooked!! They sing the kind of harmony that haunts the soul & I grew up on. I'm ecstatic that they're releasing a new album/recording! Thank u thank u!

  • Superb, thanks
