@imMORRISON Thanks! That really means a lot to me. As far as the boot time goes the only thing I could think of is that you might have downloaded packages from Cydia that run in unison with or directly change settings on the Springboard. For example, if you have something like winterboard or sbsettings, those packages add extra work for the phone to boot up since they are programed/coded to run directly as part of the phone instead of just an add on. Does this make sense, sorry if it doesn't

@zYaOz They can be found in several folders. some are in the themes, some are in the lockscreen, etc. it all depends on the creator of the package and how they wish to organize them in the repositories. the easiest thing to do is to use the search tab, that's what I used to do. I hope this helps

@JoJoNash13 changing the lock/unlock sounds work on any firmware as far as I know. I know they work on 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 so they should work on 3.1.1. But the thing is I'm not sure if they work for iPod Touch but they should if you have the 2G or 3G since they have an external speaker. Try it out, if it doesn't work you can easily disable it

@ELMaCiSo209 If you get aptbackup from cydia you'll be able to backup all of your jailbroken stuff. You just go into aptbackup, click backup and then sync your device to itunes and backup again in itunes. then after you restore and rejailbreak you download aptbackup again and click restore. it tells you everything you need to do when you open aptbackup but i just gave you a little summary. hope this helps

hmmm interesting...what device are you using? does it have external speakers. I know, for example, the first generation ipod touch doesn't have external speakers so the sounds wouldn't work with it. if you do have external speakers then you might want to try rebooting your device

@niggajoe6 it's not a theme, just a picture for the background. you do it by downloading winterboard from cydia then going into winterboard and selecting user background image or something like that. then you just go into your camera roll and choose the picture you want to use and set it as your wallpaper

to make a custom sound, you need to make a sound file or download one from somewhere, im no audio creator so i cant help you on that area

Then go put the sound you want to iTunes and right click, there should be a command saying "Create AIFF file" then go to your "Recently added" and locate the new AIFF file you made and right click and "View in Windows", this will take you to the folder where the new file is

copy that, then youll need to look up on the net to see which audio file you ....

need to change on the iphone. eg. Tock.caf is the sound for the keyboard, you need to see what the unlock sound is named then change the name of the AIFF file you just made to XXX.caf (XXX is the name of the file on the iphone, so for the keyboard it would be Tock.caf).

Replace the iphone copy making sure you back it up, and remember to change the extension to .caf

Use WinSCP to access iphone directory from computer and download SSH on your iphone..

/System/Library/Audio/UISounds

sure...the thing is, some of the packages come with the background image and some are just the sound. For example, the transformers one that i show used to be just the sound but now it has the background image.

The one i have now with the light saber sound is just the sound. the best i could tell you is to go through trial and error till you find one that is just the sound. then again you could always change the wallpaper picture to what ever you want from your camera roll/photo library
