Even for a 13 year old this is a terrible pitch. The hitters are worse though, because you TOTALLY sell the fact that you're throwing a knuckle ball by having such a completely different leg kick than when you're throwing your fastball. Terrible.

Most of the pitches looked pretty high in the zone. Definitely not where you want to be throwing a slow breaking ball like that consistently. However, a pitch like this and good fastball location, even if your fastball is average velocity can drive batters crazy. However, with the location of some of those breaking balls, they should be getting crushed. Good luck developing the pitch!

Looks good for a 13 year old. When you get older you need to try to put more velocity on it. The floaters are okay for lower level batters but you gotta start throwing it harder before you really get that shaking and dancing movement on it. It's tough to see knuckleball's movements on a camera, especially if it's not an HD camera. Judging by what the batters are doing with it your doin a good job though. Don't neglect your fastball though, you're still very young and need to develop armstrength.

100 percent correct. You are elevating it too much. Needs to start around the zone and drop out. If you start it up in the zone it will typically drop into the zone and be crushed. Good for you though going out there and working on it, only way we pitchers can figure out what works. If you have a solid fastball and follow up (or vice versa) with that knuck you will dominate.

@mileyrocks69 Throwing a knuckleball may seem simple, however it is not. I can say, from experience, that it takes YEARS of practice to get it to the strike-zone consistently, and without spin.

How do you hold it?

Most knucklers are thrown from the fingerstips (well, atleast how I learned it) and fingernails, not the knuckles.

The most key part is: push off with your fingers as you release the ball. THAT has to be perfectly timed, and done to throw a knuckler for strikes.
