Most of these disconnected jews end up intermarrying and are thus no longer a part of the jewish community. Just look at Finkelstein, a childless homo, that says it all about "jewish anti-zionism". One must respectfully disagree with Pr Finkelstein's observation that a defeat of Israel and the reshaping of the defeated Zionist State would be even remotely possibly in our life time. American President after President from Ronald Reagan onwards have all pledged complete support for Israel's security. European Jews descend for the Kazhar Empire, a west asian empire that was established in the eighth century and converted the population to Judaism to avoid taking sides in the Islam vs Christianity battle. In the 13th century the mongols rolled in and shut the empire down and the Kazahrs fled into Europe and established Jewish communities throughout Europe. Israelite descent is modern mythology.
