Wow what a great commentator... You can feel even if you cant see the fight. I was actually opening another tab Hatton vs Paquiao then I turned off the volume and have this played while playing the other video.. :)
There is something about radio commentary is there not...i remember being woken up in hospital in Feb 89 when Bruno went in with Tyson for the undisputed world title, the hair was standing on the back of my neck waiting for the opening bell....
@brownwallet942 yes .. they are no boxing fans ... you should see how manny punches ... and uses his head movement and side to side foot work .. plus the combination and speed .. .. what if i use steroids can i be like pacman .. hahaahha .. fool all of them .. they are fooling themselves :)
Memo to all boxing commentators: Have a listen to the call of this fight, it is brilliant! Please, stop waffling on about this and that and call the bloody fight the way these BBC commentators have (Bob Sheridan take note please)..
@LMatters1 Funny, I am British, but I LOVE the Colonel.. Be fair. Sometimes, when you do commentary on your own, one must interject some dare I quote? "WAFFLE" to make things a little more interesting, IMO.. Greats like Reg Gutteridge & Harry Carpenter did this on many occasions and as far as can be understood, never got any problems...
@LMatters1 Agreed, even though you can't see the fight yourself you have no doubts as to whats going on due to the brilliant commentary. Captures the atmosphere perfectly.
top class, mike costelo, he still does it for bbc 5live

British, Mexican, and Japanese commentators are spirited, excitable, and passionate.
American, Filipino, and Thai commentators on the other hand are boring, lifeless, and dull.

This commentary should be featured in the next Fight Night game soundtrack as a historical "look back". Legendary.

way better than filipino commentators who did nothing but greet their friends and relatives, not including the annoying reminders from the sponsors

I've noticed that with the exception of Jim Lampley, American sports commentators, especially in the NBA, dumb down their vocabulary.

Thank you Luke, I sent you the Froch vs Taylor Commentary. When you have the time see what you can do with that one as the Commentary is brilliant.
