@JumpAndTouchTheSky Well, that is true, but she has said in many of her interviews about this album, that the inspiration for this album was from the past two years of her life, so I'm thinking it is about some boy she loved, but, like you say, do we really need to know who? It's a beautiful song, and part of the magic of it is that we could easily relate to it, and put ourselves in her shoes and imagine that she's written it for us.

Guys, come on she doesn't have to relate every song to a guy she's been with. She could have seen a friend in the situation or taken inspiration from a movie. She also knows the power of her songs and understands that she sings the words every teenage girl wishes they could say, so she could just be putting herself in the mindset of her fans. No one knows where she draws the inspiration from for these truly beautiful songs...just close your eyes and listen to her sing out your emotions <3 <3

@JumpAndTouchTheSky Well, that is true, but she has said in many of her interviews about this album, that the inspiration for this album was from the past two years of her life, so I'm thinking it is about some boy she loved, but, like you say, do we really need to know who? It's a beautiful song, and part of the magic of it is that we could easily relate to it, and put ourselves in her shoes and imagine that she's written it for us.

I'm not a big fan of Taylor's voice, but the lyrics in some of her songs are the words I try and say, but they never come out. Example, this one. After two and a half years, me and my boyfriend brokeup.. He need to explore his options.. What the crap ever that's suppose to mean. He broke up with me the day of our 2 year 6 month anniversarry. Every time I hear one of her songs, I seriously start to cry. Everything she sings reminds me of my old boyfriend. We're still friends. But, its hard to see him with other girls.
