  • MMMM She can teach me ANYTHING she wants

  • JANINE IS SO CUTE

  • @bookworm1650 I have found a job now :D xie xie hehe. I am graphical designer for the taiwanese gov and for android :D so everything is perfect now :D but thx anyways!

  • Hi, im being offered a job teaching in chunchang china with a company called english first, any advice?

  • Is HESS a Canadian company? If it is, how can an American be a part of this program? I'd love to make some changes in my life and this could be ideal for me. Thanks for your response.

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Hess is an awful company to work for. The hours are long and its a six day week. Since this vid they also work mornings and the later shift so its a 12 hour day. Come to Taiwan but DONT go to hess. Hess started in Taiwan but has american connections and a branch in Canada. ( vancouver) .

  • @1977Futre Could you recommend another company whom I could contact for a teaching position? What would be your suggestion? Thank You!

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Yes . A lot of the schools are subjective as to whether they are good to work for and also if its a franchise then they are even more variable. Feel free to message for more info . I can tell you the schools here that I'd recommend personally : Shane school is a decent school to work for I worked there for 3.5 years and had fun. Joy schools are also decent. My friend swears that happy marian are also a great company.

  • @1977Futre What sort of teaching credentials must I possess to work in Taiwan, China, Korea etc. for these companies Shane, Joy etc?

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Not as sure about China/Korea but in TW tho you need a degree ( at least 3 year) & thats all. Lots of companies like you to have a TESL certificate ( teaching english as a second language) or an equivalent. I have smthng called a City & guilds which helped. But a degree is enough in most cases. I know of people who have dodgy degrees & still got jobs but only in smaller schools ( the big ones check heh) . If you have an education degree also you can expect a much better job.

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Lastly its easy to sign a contract from ur respective country but its not always the best decision. Basically you are stuck with them and they will own your visa. Depending on your budget and indeed time constraints it could be easier to come here THEN find a job. I have tried both methods and there is an element of luck involved in both ways.

  • Janine Dennison is one HOT WOMAN

  • @bookworm1650 Online there are many schools you can apply for Hess/Shane(saxoncourt) as well as many local Taiwan schools like Kojen and Joy. I dont reccommend Hess. Personally I went with Shane through saxoncourt and never regretted it.

  • yeah...brit accent... -_-

  • im thinking about teaching english in taiwan. any advice anyone? any and all opinions welcome, regardless of what they may be. thanks in advance!

  • @dicksalad1122 Advice? You can get a job from USA/UK etc by simply filling out an online form. Many schools will give you minumum training ,help u find a house & give you a visa. Jst B careful of who you go with. Ironically on this video she is with HESS . I dont rcmmend Hess its a 6 day week & the work is harder than other school I know of . You could land in Twn and look afterwards there are lots of jobs pre term time ( before Sep) . As long as you have a degree you can work here. Good luck.

  • @1977Futre thanks for the response! so you would say there are a lot of jobs available in taiwan currently?

  • @dicksalad1122 Yes now is a good time to come. Basically after September jobs become more scarce. The bigger companies are recruitng now but smaller ones too. You can visit tealit.com or ESL99.com .

  • what dancing is that? looks like swing.

  • I like Janine. I hope i will see her in Taiwan :-)

  • i'm now almost 3 months in taiwan, and i enjoy every minute here.... greetings from a Belgian guy

  • Comment removed

  • shoes? she comes to Taiwan for the shoes? gimme a break......

  • yeah your teaching degree, and the fact that you look white.

  • If Janine is still there I want to go! Shes a hottie!

  • Im from hong kong i would bang her too.

  • cool lantern. just better hope if doesn't engulf itself in flames, fall on top of a building....

  • she has A cups -_-

  • 0:30 "Alien Resident Certificate" :D

Plus they seriously need to interview Mordeth!

  • As a Taiwanese dude...I'd bang her.

  • good video

  • she's hot but she's still a loser for teaching in taiwan...

  • i thought all white women who teaches english in asia are........ well below average or fat. She don't look too bad.........

  • @KoolJayJ ahahaha Hilarious. I know what you mean...mostly the Hippy rejects of the west. wonder whats going on in her head.

  • Her breasts are really, really flat.

  • "Near to Amy." wtf I'm not grammar police, but this bimbo needs to watch it when teaching these little ones.

  • oh yea I met some South African people in night club once and they said they were teaching English for about a year.

I only taught for 2 weeks but it's for volunteer service.

  • @twychang I very much doubt that's true. Think about it: if you really want to become proficient in another language, then you ideally spend some time in a country where they speak it - and _not_ yours. Conversely - her becoming fluent in Chinese would help her in some cases, but would also tempt her to react when the kids speak Chinese to her. As it is, the kids are forced to speak English, and that's a good thing.

  • omfg you are beautiful

  • Fuck. Not another goddam "English teacher". These people are the janitors of the expat community. Most of them are there to party without bothering to learn anything about the country itself.

  • @doxide AND?

  • aussie lesbos.

  • @guxxx041 shes south african

  • @theosthebest - fuck teaching EFL at Hess, she should go into porn.

  • Janine is GORGEOUS, I am in love with her from this video. SO pretty!!!

  • It's true, if you are really enjoying yourself in another country and culture you can overide culture shock with fascination as happened to me. Not having culture shock does not mean she is adapting so well, just that she is enjoying herself. A lot of westerners come to asia and become very frustrated......forget about the alienation and get on with the fascination!!

  • I'd hit that.

  • This woman is delusional. "No culture shock..." Yeah, whatever, it must be because you've adopted so well now and are just like a native.

By the way, her Chinese is awful. Four months and you don't know how to say "I don't want?"

... This isn't even believable. Sounds like a lot of boosterism and crap.

  • culture shock varies for each person. It depends on your personal background as well as if you have travelled. if she is in her first year she wont feel culture shock til her 2nd year

  • LOL shes so like chinese she forgot to remove price tag from her clothing...

  • 6:50 haha Tammy sounds sooo damn cute haha love that accent she has

  • Wow, I love your enthusiasm, Janine!

From what little I've learned about teaching in Taiwan, the style is much more interactive than the typical, ho hum, teacher talking most of the time method in The United States.

I studied Mandarin for 4 semesters. Not close to being fluent but enough for common phrases and native Chinese are impressed with my pronunciation.

I'm in Minneapolis, the job market is dismal. So I'm thinking Taiwan, teach, enjoy the culture, meet other teachers.

  • Taiwan is full of South Effrickens.

  • her accent is dreadful. even I would struggle with that

  • Lesbians

  • South-Africa FTW! Also a teacher here in TW, but in Hsinchu.

  • God damn Janine is hot

  • I'm in love with Janine..

  • The music really sucks, and doesn't represent Taiwan

  • really. you don't say. I think that was pretty obvious the moment she said "I want to experience the real 'rustic' Taiwanese places...." by going to the "poor restaurants." She's probably one of "those" who also think a guided tour to all the yoga hot spots in India will give her a "spiritual experience of Indian culture"....

  • @davidstighansen yeah indeed it sounds like chinese yuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @davidstighansen since I've made this comment, I've been corrected that it does represent Taiwan, but I don't really agree.

  • @davidstighansen That's the only thing you could think of to say about this girl's video? WTF? And why don't you then provide music that doesn't suck and does represent Taiwan?

  • @vlnvlaclogbaerhpno Umm, because this isn't my video? And it's not her vid, some buxiban made it to recruit teachers

  • do you need to speak mandarin or taiwanese to teach in taiwan?

  • You need to speak English! (FYI : Taiwanese is more prominent, but Mandarin is suggested for study first)

4:20 No man can eat 50 eggs! You ladies experience any gas later on?

  • For most Asian countries, you can easily get a job teaching English below university level as long as you look white and has a high school diploma....scary, isn't it?

  • @yupper99

Haha, but it is much better that, than letting the adults in there teach. They are really bad :p

  • totally right as long as you WHITE

    @yupper99

  • @yupper99 : In my country (Indonesia it is even scarier, a fisherman can become an english teacher as long as one looks white........ and worse, he even shows his fisherman pictures to us..... @_@..

  • @yupper99 What about if your not white ? (Just asking)

  • @yupper99 no you cant.

  • @1977Futre Oh? And what is your basis for making that assertion, especially given that you admitted you are "not sure about China/Korea"? How many East, Southeast, and South Asian countries have you taught English in for you gauge whether or not my random statement is accurate?

  • @yupper99 I have mates in China/Korea/japan/thailand/hongKong. You need at least a degree or MORE to teach in these countries. Thats fact.

  • @1977Futre Wrong, a few countries and particular cities do require a degree but theres still work for people without who have a tefl qualification.

  • @the1bc how do i get this tefl? do i get this online or in person after getting there?

  • she is so beautiful! she kind of looks like natalie portman and keira knightly combined. i will probably be going to japan or south korea to teach, but taiwan looks very beautiful. i should look into this more.

  • Welcome to republic of taiwan and enjoyed your life in Taiwan.

  • LOL! Your ass must aint never been to Singapore. Man we dont care how tha cities look. We wanna know bout tha clubs and them hoes. What they be like?

  • The clubs are really good and the girls are beautiful. Best thing about the cities

  • oooo baby janine you can do tai chi with me anytime.

  • All Asian countries are beautiful

  • true dat

  • is there an yi jung night market in taipei or is she in taichung? looks like taichung! oh yes, those were the good ol' days. but glad NOT to be teaching ESL anymore. awesome documentary.

  • Love the haircut..I'm going to be a teacher and I'd rather go overseas than stay in the US and teach... I'd love it...Thanks for the video

  • Amazing video!! I love the lantern !!

  • I have been youtubing advice about teaching in asia and then The most beautiful person I have ever seen pops up!!! You have convinced me to teach in Taiwan... well assuming my heart starts back up!

  • Comment removed

  • @DrPeppieVeling - Are you fucking serious? Of all the teachers in this video, you want the most gorgeous teacher to contact you. LMAO!!

  • Dear Janine,

Thank you very much for sharing!

I will spend 3 months in Taipei, September 1 till December 1 this year. I will be 23 by then, same age as you were when you were teaching english and enjoying life in Taiwan. I will fly on my own from hongkong to Taipei, after having travelled by train from Europe to Hongkong, china.

  • OMG, A south African accent sends the shivers down my spine, havent heard one in the two years Ive been here. Feels like home really.

  • Aye what is with all the chicken dancing???
