yeah man i am familiar with both those songs. first off take five is by dave brubeck. but the thing is that jazz is such a giant section with many subcategories, all with different sounds. so to say that jazz only has one sound is rather inaccurate. and i play the bass, guitar, tenor, alto, drums, trumpet, piano, sitar and tabla, and im pretty sure which goes where. chili peppers is more funk rock.
