Yeah, I think it's sort of hard to survive a Drag Racing crash. They seriously need to make safety polocies (I don't know if I spelled that right) to prevent deaths or serious injuries as much as possible.

It's actually a lot safer than most people think. Top fuel dragsters are designed to break apart like that to absorb a majority of the force of the crash while the driver is surrounded by a steel or titanium safety capsule that is designed to protect them in the event of a crash.
