I was at this show.

Vader closed the fest, right after Slayer. Slayer played all of Reign in Blood but were very disappointing, and not loud enough. I was dead tired, but decided to stay on for Vader regardless.

To this day, I still remember how awesome they were on that night. The guitar sound was incredible! Such a powerful display of live death metal.

I was at this fest. Slayer were on just before and they were so quiet.  I wore earplugs all through the fest but took them out for Slayer - that's how quiet they were. Really disappointed with them, but stuck round for Vader despite being wrecked. Wow! This was the single best sound I've ever heard, the guitars were MASSIVE. Amazing set.

Holy fuck this reminds how awesome Vader is. Listened to them a lot as a teenager with De Profundis but years down the track moved on to different corners of metal.
