He made what anyone would advise him to do.......leave the group and pursue a solo career. Too bad the Spinners went on to become the Monster hit-makers and not him. This man is a proffessional worth imitating in vocal quality, stage presence and I've always loved this song. Wish I could sing it on stage, but no-one knows it where I'm from.
i brought a ring for 26,000 and gave it to my woman and she took it and gave it to another girl and she fled the country to the bahamas in 1977 and when i went to florida to my daughter graduation i saw this girl with the ring on and i asked her where she got that frum she said her mother and i said where she at she behind you and she said that's your daughter so i had to let her keep it
