The C64 doesn't really output an interlaced signal as such, something to do with an even number for the vertical resolution. The IFLI/MCI flickerring trick just alternates an image 1/50th of a second, but most capture cards won't see this as an interlaced TV image.
@m8beconnect: For the time being, hold off on messing with any of the 1541U-II's settings. The talk going round is that there's a chance of bricking your unit if you alter the settings in the 'wrong' way. Luckily my unit survived a session of setting changes (first thing I did before I even loaded any disks) including setting the clock and it;s still working so far.
Nice stuff! I like your dungeon.

@otacke It's not my dungeon. The Oxyron scene group made it.

Bad thing for the C64, to have the recording at 50Hz , as it sems. So you see the tearing even better in the 3D scene.
People should really drop those tries to put some 3D on a stock C64. It's simply too slow

The music 8/10. How long did it take to program it?
lutzdify 6 months ago
@lutzdify The Oxyron team made it, so you are going to have to fine them and ask them ^_^

Great!!! Was this one written on cassette, floppy, or cartrigde?

@lutzdify Its a onefile demo. No multiloads so it can work from anything that can load a file into a C64.

The quality is really good. Which DVD-Recorder (Model number) did you use for recording and how did you connect your C64 to it ?

Hey Dude ! I've just received my 1541 Ultimate 2 today, and it's awesome. I've not tried all demos but all is running well as far I know.
