gs is N/T motor and front wheel drive GSX 4G63 motor turbocharged T-25 turbo boosting 10PSI stock and All Wheel Drive, if you meant gst the difference is that gsx is an all wheel drive and gst is front wheel drive

@PhillieBRidin the gs is a FWD with no turbo, the gsx is an AWD with a turbo and I believe a 2.4 vs. the GS' 2.0, but idk about that one i may be wrong

@ZackAftermath Depends on the year. I don't think the GSX had the 2.4L till '99. I have a '96 GSX and it's got the 2.0L

@DBxSloww no RS, GS, and GST are FWD. GSX is the only AWD out of all the models. Though GST and GSX have the same 4G63T Engine. 420A For both RS and GS.

@anthonygardner52 If you can find one, a GSX. Turbo charged + AWD = WINNING. but with aftermarket engine parts, you have to make sure the part is for the turbo version. The GSX and GST can take the same engine parts except for exhaust systems because the GSX has a rear differential. There's more stuff, that's easier to find and less expensive for non-turbo eclipses. But if you have the money and patience for it, the turbo eclipses are much better. -Proud owner of a 1996 GSX.

@OMGToXiC Know this is old but in case any one else is wondering. The Gsx is the all wheel drive version of the prior model eclipse gt and uses a turbo 4 cylinder

the 00-05 uses a front wheel drive 4 or in the Gt, 6 cyl 3.5 liter if you mean the doughnuts in the parking lot, not really with a front wheel drive. Most these cars are heavily modded too so horsepower is probably not stock.
