  • awesome ;)

  • music name?

  • Herlig video. Digger det her!

  • Wow what a fantastic video! Thanks for posting,I cant beleive how many there were right up close to you!

  • dam I want to ride with one of those

  • I wonder how you can get this god damn CLOSE to them!!!!!

  • idiots dont introduce muskies- people with balls do muskies- all other fish are bait!

  • these retarded kids in my class thought a picture i showed them was a pike eating baby walleye and then they said that a picture of a school of salmon was pike O.o

  • Where in Mjøsa is this?

  • Very nice video. One surely don't want them to attack you. They have a mouth absolutely filled with extremly sharp teeth. Nice that you caught two of them in the same place (or were there even more?).

  • well their not camera shy lol

  • wow very big pike

  • Astonishingly beautiful creatures...i love em.....

  • I love them as well.

  • And only one type are native to Europe :) Esox lucius..... The only way you will see muskies in European lakes / lochs / rivers etc is if some idiot introduced them.

  • These are Esox lucius (pike) for those in doubt, search for the pike family Esocidae..... Five types in all. Chain Pickerel, Grass Pickerel, Muskellunge, Northern Pike(known simply as pike in europe) and Redfin Pickerel

  • I am from Michigan. I am 100% sure that they are pike! Not even one hint of being a muskie.

  • Cool vid. Very appropriate music. Thanks for uploading!

  • those are huge ass pike dude

  • Were gonna need a bigger boat lol. Right were is my rod .

  • hey turu I never said it was a fukin muskie you prick. I live in northen Minnnesota I would know Asshole. All I said it looked like it had barrs and why not its a pike family. Kiss my ass. and your lake lookes like shit with dead organic silt on the bottom. Your lake my ass.

  • Jeeezz.... You said they are hybrids. Now what on earth would you know about a deep and dark lake up here in Norway, just because you live in Minnesota?

  • if you look close it has horizontal spots of a pickerel and verticle bars of a muskie. Hybrid.

  • And since you became the expert, who the fuck flew in and dropped it in MY lake??! Ha ha!

This is a pike. There are no "muskies" in Europe.

  • People and the internet says musky is a fish only of north america, but really come on theres gotta be some musky in other countries... just not a whole lot... Im not saying that that was a musky, but musky is in the pike family and pike are all over the place so why cant there be any musky over there?

  • As far as I'm aware Musky is just the American term for pike. When I see Americans on youtube catching a 'musky' it just looks like a pike to me.

  • Two different fish same family. google it or check a book. I'm an avid fisherman and know my fish.

  • Lot's of Lakes and rivers where there are just one or the other.

  • white shark music hehe

  • lol dramatic music

  • отлично сочетается музыка и видео вместе! Только если бы ещё и её атаку засняли, то ваабще было бы замечательно!

  • this the super video i ve seen today!

    music is so impressive!

  • It's the theme to the Jaws movies. Kinda good movies, but they real crappy special effects, etc.

  • Scary, its feels like the pike is going to attack the cameraman. :D

  • Haha this video is great!!!!

  • think the soundtrack was added l8ter muppet

  • in the water listening to the music and seeing them fish would trip me out, haha

  • do pike also hunt at night?

  • i don't think so. I have never caught a pike at night but I have had some of my friends say they have caught pike after dark.

  • who ever took that video must of shit in there wet suit coz i would of but it was worth it he got some awesome footage and they were big pike no 2 ways about it

  • 4or5 foot long 15 to 25 lbs thats what a think. nice fish

  • that big???? looked like 1 foot to me

  • doesn't give any idea of how big these jacks are.......what was your guesstamate on there true size/weight???

  • is it true they can grow up to 20 meters long and attack submarines?my friend is convinced they attacked the kursk

  • you just made me laugh the hardest i have ever laughed in a long time bud but ur friend is fucked in the head

  • no they dont get that big

  • yes they do. there are some around 48-50 in that can weigh 30 lbs and up.

  • i eat babies...

  • Hahahaha your friend is fucked ..

  • I loved the way you filmed as well as the music wich made the viedeo more interesting.. thanks and keep up with the good work.

  • I could film guppies with this music. How about a point of reference.

  • Pretty cool, i caught my first pike a week ago, it was actually pretty big to :)

  • i live close by mjøsa. mjøsa is the best spot in the world to catch a big trout. like over 20 pound.

mjøsa have a lot of trout pike and carp. and realy realy nice freswather perch

  • dude`s fish looks bigger i the water,not smaller......stupid.....the vid is awesome

  • actually they look smaller stupid

  • This music fits only when at the end pike gets other fish. In this case... video and music two different things.

  • Such a beautiful fish.

  • Dam, they look like crocks. Good video. I know that they attack their own species. How dangerous are they for us when we swim? Probably not that much, but maybe I'm wrong.

  • They can bite, but don't they dont pose real threat. They bite humans only accidently.

  • monsters :D

  • this is hilarious with the music

  • sportsriderdork, you wouldn't know a pike from a perch, would you really? Ha ha!

These pikes are females around 10 kilos each. I know. I edited this video...

  • "Take it from one who knows like myself."

If you were not there you could not possibly know as there was no frame of reference to to judge.

  • I will tell you again, those fish aint know 20 lbs, take it from one who knows.

    "Ain't know"

That would be aren't or are not.

Take it from one who knows. ;P

    Oh sorry, let me translate

    one who no's

Now about those fish without a frame of reference?

  • dude u dont no shit, the first one is 20 lbs EASY, hes a fat guy and water makes fish look smaller, stop acting like u no everything

  • "dude u dont no shit, the first one is 20 lbs EASY, hes a fat guy and water makes fish look smaller, stop acting like u no everything"

I simply pointed out a fact. There is no frame of reference from which to even begin to judge. Fat fish mean nothing. Just means they eat well.

Ever meet Al Linder? I fished a walleye tournament a while back and he showed up to fish it. On tv you get no clue as to what size he is in person. I was quite surprised to see he was about 5 foot 3 inches.

  • pike not pikes

  • hope you didnt shoot those poor fishys

  • i love that fish with it you make the best soup

  • omfg thats the mother of all pike where all pike come from!!!

  • Monsters no fish ,but very very nice monsters.

  • he aint showing how good they are to eat hes showing big pike - nice

  • haha nice music...huge fish!

  • great vid!

  • theres a river not too far from my house where as kids we used to swim there in the summer, people used to say there was an unusualy large pike at the drop off where we used to dive in. ever since ive always been afraid of pike fish especially the big ones!

  • Hilsen fra Oslo

  • Really good!

  • is a great footage on a wild pike

  • Wow thats huge pike

  • Awesome!

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!! :))))

  • That's a rad underwater video.

  • Bust out the shore lunch & ketchup yummy

  • not really. larger fish like these are not very good eating, as they contain more mercury than smaller ones, the meat is more tough, and it is a great hassle to take care of the "Y-bones"

  • dat muziek maakt het spannend

  • dude i would have netted that beast .you got so close to it .usually they swim away when they see somthing the don't know.nice footage

  • super fish, they eat just about anything(rats, birds)they get their jaws on.

  • indeed, I live close to the water. and one time I was outside in the yard I noticed 5 ducklings and their mother. Shortly after I heard a BIG splash. and then there were only 4 ducklings and their mother..

  • beautiful fish, funny jaws music lol =D

  • well done

  • Very nice, wouldn't mind one of those chomping onto one of my lures!

  • I agree. I would love to catch one of those beasts. The jaws music was a nice touch. Lol.

  • Friggen treehuggers n granola crunchers.

  • being a guide at a resort that resides on lakes with 50 inch plus monsters roaming off schools of walleye and bass I encounter fisherman who pay thousands of dollars to hook one big fish. One big fish we released was 53 1/2 inches 36 to 40 lbs. we release every fish and hook them repeatedly in the same areas year after year.large pike rock.....

  • And seriously? What is really the point of hurting the animals in that way?... Just to have fun! Seriously, get a life...

  • hey dude i make my living catching fish...feed my family and pay the bills.where do you think your Captain Hiliner shit comes from? probably never had fresh fish in your life

  • Fish don't feel pain the way you imagine them to. You honestly think a fishing guide goes out to kill fish? He'd be out of business pretty quickly if that were the case. Stop letting your emotions cloud rational thought.

  • Yeah, and that is just another proof of the fact that it's the money that controls this world, not humanity... Sadly enough :/

  • Very cool video :D

  • very cool video!!! i just love them, even though theyr not much respected..by some fishers

  • lol nice music! they due kinda seem like jaws sometimes. amd i right?

  • haha, man tror att en gädda ska attackera kameran med den musiken.

  • cool

  • that is so cool. I'v seen one that big but he would not bite.

  • nice

  • Hur djupt var det där ni filmade?

  • Great Video! What kind of U-W Cam do you use?

  • Didnt think i was under water..

  • thats a big fish! good video! thanks!:)

  • Nice video with great pikes -thumb up-:)

  • One: The comment below me....wow....spell much? it's junior....jeez. Anyway, if it was sitting still for so long why didn't you net it? I mean I can't judge it's size too well from video but it looked pretty nice if you know how to filet northerns well.

  • jouner jaws

  • It doesn't matter whether there is pike in the lake because pike will not attack a human unless provoked by poking etc.

    Nice vid . :-)

  • good footage man

  • music fits just fine

  • great footage but the music dosn't fit please post some more and try to include different area's as i am curiouse to how they behave when you put down food.

  • Wow, thats a nice video thanks for posting.
