Not to mention it's far too expensive to just shelve! $750 paperweight!
You were running your extruder at too high a temperature, that's why it came out of the PTFE barrier. Either that or you have a wonky thermistor.
Using someone else's gcode is never advisable--everyone's machine is unique. Maybe that's what caused the barrel to heat up too high.
