I see it looks like you were using a tissue, that's a good idea. I use tissues when doing portraits, it gives a much much more smoother transitions from dark to lights, vise versa- the whole gradients. Stumps or tortillas tend to be for smaller detail like teeth or eyes and things tissues are good for big areas, arms, face, etc... good job, keep it up.
