WOW! That sounds amazing! Had you ever played on a radial type fretboard before? Dean currently makes a guitar with frets like that (no bass strings tho.. all guitar). Have you tried an 8 string tuned to F# B E A D G B E like an 8 string jazz guitar? Anyhow... great skill man.
@AzzMan2k6 it has 3 bass strings and 5 guitar strings. bass strings are E-A-D. guitar strings are: A-D-G-B-E. check out charlie hunter. he invented it.... and he is insane.
Two questions: 1) do the strings get progressively thicker as they get lower, or are the first 5 normal guitar strings and the next 3 bass (pretty much are they like a "normal" 8 string). 2) how do those slanty frets play? They seem like they can make certain things easier, like sweeping, or more difficult, like chords. Oh, and I'd also like to know how much it would cost. So I guess that's three questions :P

@MrPerson72 5 normal guitar strings, and 3 bass strings. fanned frets looks weird, but it's not hard to get use to them. this guitar is for sale, it's brand new. the luthier gave it to me to try it and make a little vid, but it's not mine. ti's currently been sold at 1500 U$(no shipping included)
@cataclysmichael i wish... i live in a second floor... i guess they would need a fireman lader or something. sometimes they throw rocks and stuff hehehe
