Good eye. You're correct. It was out of focus only slightly to achieve the "plasma" effect. In full focus, it's like any other distant star, just a pinpoint of flashing light. I liked the effect so I used this clip instead.

I guess you didn't read below where I state I put it out of focus for the "plasma effect).
Otherwise it looks like any normal star.

Go to the boomslanger site Ace - vids are better resolution...I get lost in there for hours .
