that's known as shallow depth of field. It's achieved on a DVX by placing the camera a good distance away from the subject, and then zooming all the way in. After that just play around with the focus ring a little. Also make sure the f-stop is around 2.8

No grading. Just a good white balance before each shot. It was under horrible flourescent lighting. Only a couple shots came out green though.

K. That's a tough question since it has been so long ago. It was shurley just 24p with a all manual settings. What are you having problems with?

No adapter. DOF can be simulated if you zoom in most of the way. The focal point becomes shallower.

No adapter used. I have a different cam now (XH-A1). Most shot were almost full zoom hence the short focal length (depth).

I think it was like %80 percent. The video is pergressive and the shutter was 1/60 so I think that helps. Is that what you mean?
