  • These guys woulda sooo won tthe Sing Off

  • The Nylons lineup of the 80s were amazing! My quartet always tried to emulate them in high school. Didn't sound like them, but Lord, were we inspired by their music and vocals.

  • Nothing like this. I LOVE it and miss them so much.

  • All your comments warm my heart. Marc is my brother, and I miss him dearly. Thank you for sharing your memories and your reactions to his performance. Yes, he was indeed a very talented and dedicated musician and performer. He took his craft very seriously. He died far too young , at 40, on March 25, 1991 however, he lived his life to the fullest, achieving more than many who live to be elderly. He continues to inspire me. His musical legacy continues almost 22 years later. RIP dear brother.

  • absolutely wonderful, I was fortunate to experience some truly great performances by the guys back in their very early days at Lucifer's in Edmonton. Great stuff, thanks for posting

  • Wow!!!!

  • WTG CANADA makes me proud to be 100% red and white

  • I had this an album of thiers in1982, and loved it. Just remembered them and came here to listen- and find them even better than I recalled. they're so full of life- there is life in thier music. And, I played 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' by them- and, up loud, it just ENVELOPED me. Makes you wanna yell !!

  • hey canadians WITH talent unlike a sertain other person

  • I so miss Marc. I saw them in Edmonton years and years ago at the fair before they became more popular. I saw them in concert at least 3 times in Ottawa......the best concerts ever.

  • i remember them when i lived in Brampton, Ontario....with Sharon Lois and Bram LOL! no greater talent! so glad my boys heard this growing up!

  • Pridog59 said all that needs to be said!!

  • Easily one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. Purity and power. Unbelievable.

  • A man of unique singing prowess, leagues apart from most. A genius. The world lost far too many artists too soon because of AIDS.

  • @MusicFanNevada032 What do you mean its a shame, you too can get aids tweet.

  • Just looked all over the net for A Touch Of Your Hand. There was one youtube video, but it was removed due to 'copyright violations." BOOOOO! And it's nowhere to be heard.

  • When I was a teenager I spend the night with my cousin a lot, and my aunt would turn out all of the lights at night and light candles, and turn the Nylons up loud... When I fell madly in love shortly thereafter I'd listen to "A touch of your hand" over and over... It's impossible to communicate the magic of the time and how magical the music was for me...

  • A Scotsman with a Canadian dad loves your music

  • Must have been about 1985. That's when I saw them live at Ontario Place.

They made a cappella cool all over again.

  • beautiful, amazing as always, one of my long-time favorite groups

  • The human singing voice has the best harmony. I got to hear every note.

  • AHHHHH!!!!!! This is the first LP I ever listened to as a kid

  • Saw them a few times, the first time in Guelph in 82. Every time they sang this song, you could hear a pin drop. Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Marc had such a pure voice. Definitely miss him.

  • Wow!!! Loved them. Saw them live a few times. Thanks for posting.

  • Denis SImpson dies this morning. RIP Denis

  • This is the kind of talent that is missing in most music these days. Sounding as good live as they do on recording. Really moves the heart.

  • I've been a fan every since I saw them perform on the Bud Freedman/Improv Show, this is what music should be. Thanks so much for posting :)

  • what a voice !!!!!! Marc Conners Died in 1991 from an Aids related problem
