Santilli has been proven to be a liar more then half a dozen journalist have asked him to produce the Master Unedited Version and he always declines, if its fake he should have the Master copy! that's because there isn't one. They hired the backlot and used the model alien they fabricated for other scenes in the film. It was actually a script change that the producers came up with because they thought that people would feel cheated if they didn't put this little reveal in at the end. So they borrowed some military costumes from Shepperton Studios that was shooting 'the White Feather' and quickly shot it.
