I do know the spellsword is a variation of the red mage. The red clothing and the word 'spell' kinda give it away. It doesnt take a die hard Final Fantasy fan to reconize that.

Based on poll's, people wanted to see tifa more than rikku. So he made DFIII the Tifa V Hitomi battle instead of Rikku V Ayane. Rikku V Ayane should be DFVI though.

From what I could see, I think he currently has of about 3 dress sphere designs in mind: Air Gear Rikku (Monty Oum's Design), Lolita Rikku (Another Monty Oum Design), and a Spell Sword Rikku (a contestant designed this one).

I'm just wondering if all the SE girls have to change clothes or it's just Yuna, Rikku and Kairi. I'm guessing Kairi's going to have Wise, Heartless, Master, and Final forms after Valor.

I know you guys like your Lolita and stuff, and it looks good on her, but remember that most of the dressspheres in X-2 were based on classes in previous games. That NICE Dragoon/Al bhed mix really emphasizes her lineage with the Cid/Highwind family without forcing a European look. Spellsword is actually a Red Mage outfit, but I also like that. I'm glad Oum is doing something with the dress spheres the way he had Kairi transform in DF2. I'd love to see Blue Mage Riku, with the original FF5 look.

Well, I was talking about the illustrations too (Except the Roller Blader). The drawing of the Lolita Sword, and the Archer in particular, was the first one too really catch my eye. Granted there were good ones before it. But, they hardly work for Rikku.

If I had guess. The CGI versions of the Spell and Lolita Swords probably wouldn't even exist if they weren't already under serious consideration.

As they were both obviously done by the same artist, as the hand drawings weren't.
