i love this song so much.. i heard this at an early performance, before the album at Sydney Opera House. There was something so heart wrenching about it all.. the ambience.. Ben's voice.. the acoustics.. sends shivers down my spine.

Both Ben and Nick have got a bit ropey lately, but this project seems to have helped them both. Fantastic work - comparisons with Taupin and John are justified.

Thanks for posting this so we can hear what the new album sounds like and go buy it :)

I'm really pleased with how the final arrangement of this song came out. I first heard it last year at the Seattle Symphony show; just Ben doing it solo piano. Then they released a demo with a weird drum track -- really glad they didn't stick with that. Hard to compete with seeing it live, but this is pretty good!
