I'll qualify my statement by saying I'm a Yankee fan and love watching the best player in the game ply his trade while wearing pinstripes. However, the weight loss is a little suspicious considering the steroid witch-hunt that has changed the face of baseball. First things first, weight training when coupled with a stretching and flexability program makes any athelete more effective. The loss of muscle mass will not improve anyones performance, even A-Rod's. Opinions... anyone.
